What's not to like?

Great italian core, physicality, althought I'd like more technical RWB with great passing, Singo main treat is pure strength. We have a runner already in Denzel, what we need is brains. Basically we need a right footed DiMarco there . Scalvini had a weak Under tournament, but will be Azzurri star in the future. I have my doubts on Mamardashvili. I would prefer Keylor . Loads of UCL experience.

This is a almost realistic lineup with our finances ( Scalvini is very hard to get though)

Buying Lukaku creates a big problem. I don't get how people don't see this...

Selling Onana, leaving the sporting aspect aside as you can find good or bad in this decision, gives bad vibes. You're shipping out a new Bosman transfer just because you want to exploit the capital gains you can make on him. Why would anyone want to come here on a Bosman if that's their trajectory? You see that Marcus Thuram is going to cost us a lot of money and he's not really worth this salary. He may grow into it and maybe even fast, but he doesn't warrant it. And his future? Possibly we sell him as well.

Same with signing Brozovic to a new deal last season only to look with the first opportunity to squeeze money for him...

We still need a forward from the sale of Onana, for 30 million Lukaku seems the best option. Unfortunately no one wants to buy a kebab man that would use that money and half the money from the sale of Onana to buy a good forward.

i dont want us to sell any more midfielders

midfielders are cheaper then attacking players and we should always focus on having best possible mids

And not for the money Atalanta will want for him. We should be looking at a cheaper option like Schuurs. He was a force with Torino last season and would fit right into that RCB role.

That one still mystifies me. I tried to imagine different "X-Files " plots but none take hold. To piss away 50M from a club that has been continuously chanting the mantra: "we have to sell, cause we have no budget for transfers" is just fkd up!

I guess it goes one of two ways. Either we slash our ambitions - we can maybe just about use broz + other money (eg Gosens) to get Lukaku + Frattesi, but then we're restricted to bosmans/etc to pad out the rest of the squad (RWB, 1 new CB ontop of Bisseck?, new striker, new LWB if Gosens leaves)

or we sell a different big name to give us a war chest

I'm not sure which I'd prefer.

Singo should be a must to fight with dumfries for that spot on the right. I don't think darmian is a viable option or good enough attacking threat down that side. As we saw, he is much better used in defense.

Marotta and Ausilio should feel ashamed, they are getting schooled by Carnevali. Look how he has had a meeting every other day, Inter Milan Juve Roma repeat for this entire month. That's how you get free dinners, and Carnevali is not selling Frattesi until he gets VIP Membership at every restaurant in Sassuolo.

Get Frattesi with option to buy at 30-35. i feel Handa will stay another year. Or get Valencia Georgian keeper with obligation to buy. No money for Lukaku.
