I don't think anyone claims Thuram has world class potential or he's going to be the leader of our attack. But he's the best forward we can realistically afford. I don't see anyone else. And let's see if we can even get him. Sky reported today Inter are trying but Bayern are still the favorites.

It's important that we get some speed in our lineup. It can be somebody else than Thuram, but he seems the best of the cheapest options.

Even if we had money who would be better than Thuram? The number 9 market is scarce. He's quick, decent dribbler and has 14 g/a this year. Really good player not world class but there aren't many better in the market

Thuram + getting a kid back from loan/buy back a kid? Who is doing good atm?

We are keeping Lautaro, Džeko and probably Correa too, since nobody will buy him, also he probably won't play more than 7 games per season anyway. Getting a kid back and having Thuram would be good.

It's very unlikely that Correa stays here next season unless he gets another injury. He should leave on loan. It's better for both parties.

I think for the right conditions clubs would definetly want him. There's a talented player there but he hasn't shown it not that he was ever good enough for our level. Hopefully we sign a prospect instead of him altough knowing our management that's unlikely

If we had money we could go for Jonathan David or Kolo Mouani who have higher upside. But we don't. So in our current financial situation Thuram is the best we can get.

Kolo Muani is probably going to Bayern and Jonathan David is quite a similar profile to Lautaro. My point is Thuram is a very good signings whether we have money or not

Biasin said Inter are doing everything they can to sign Thuram but for the time being the player is holding out for offers from other leagues before making a decision.

Thuram apparently wants a CL club because Deschamps apparently cares a lot about CL performances.

Don't think he'll find a better destination than our club.

Yeah understandable. He has Inter as his backup option if no bigger club comes for him. We should have drafts for backup plans for ourselves (and probably have already).

I don't understand it actually, unless if he waits for a big paycheck. In bigger club, he will eat the bench or leave after one season. Just see how Barcelona treat most of their new acquisitions.

Maybe Thuram wants to a bigger club? We can't know his motives.

I can only think of fucking ManUnited. They have Rashford, Martial, Anthony & Sancho. Here he would hv mch less cmpetition, only Dzeko and Correa if considering Lukaku won't be here.

Chelsea have zero strikers. Tottenham might look into signing him should they not exercise Danjuma's option.
