Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was recently seen in Spain, personally scouting Valencia centre back
Mouctar Diakhaby, reports suggest.
The Nerazzurri are working hard to try and find a new centre back ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, aware that they may lose star defender Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint-Germain. The Slovakian has not put pen to paper on a new deal and is currently on track to leave the club on a free transfer next summer, meaning Inter need to have a replacement lined up.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Ausilio was spotted in Spain earlier this week, keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old Diakhaby, whose contract expires with Valencia at the end of this season. No agreement has been reached regarding a new deal yet and Inter are hoping to insert themselves in proceedings.
The Nerazzurri are also keeping a close eye on Sevilla’s
Tanguy Nianzou, who has the same agent as Diakhaby, but picking up the 20-year-old would be a much harder deal to pull off.
