Lol, I don't know about guiness. But where I live in the North there are no water charges at home. Tap water is free. Not sure about down south

Second largest city in country, if it was me i would rather choose to live there tbh then Rijeka, but that's only coz i already lived there for 10+ years cost of living is similar to Zagreb, maybe rent is bit lower, you could probably find even lower house/apartment in Solin which is like 2 min drive from Split.@wera @Croatians What about Split? it looks like the company I work for will be opening an office there, Rijeka vs Split
Is Toronto the best place to live in Canada? I had a discussion with a colleague who lived in Canada for years during a business dinner last night. According to him, the only bearable place in Canada is Ottawa which caught me a bit surprised. I always considered Toronto the place to live in Canada. Curious about yours and other Canadians opinions on his claim.Lmaoooo yea, I'm privileged enough to have a paid off condo in Toronto. Otherwise with how things are right now, I'd be depressed af lol
Imagine being able to rent a nice 3 bedroom house for 1500cad like Harpsabu mentioned?
In case people are curious, a 3 bedroom 1500-1800sqft townhouse 1h away from downtown Toronto costs about $1.3m CAD, same house was 700k in 2019
Ottawa? I wouldn't even go on vacation there. Is Toronto the best place to live in Canada? I had a discussion with a colleague who lived in Canada for years during a business dinner last night. It's slowing down abit though with interest rate hiking but it's not even close to going back to prepandemic level
It depends on what you're looking for. Toronto is the equivalent of living in NYC. It's where most of the diversified jobs and most of the people are. However, there's zero bang for your buck and it's quite crowded. Ottawa is a boring city.Is Toronto the best place to live in Canada? Vancouver is amazing.
Toronto is like NYC or London. Probably better for a foreigner who's looking for a job opportunity with some career potential that will drain whatever comes into your wallet until you get yourself a much better role/position after 3-5 years.
You already live like a God, king. That’s how Boston was
I had a $3k apartment with 4 friends wasn’t even the nicest area.
Your friends move in with their gf or move out of state to be near family or gf then it’s like wtf am I paying 1k a month to live in a shithole to be near 5 bars. (Pussy is free when you live that close to that many bars tho - nothing works better than saying I live 1-2 blocks away and have booze at home
Move to Connecticut bought a house I fixed up that is 3x bigger than my old apartment with an acre of land. Pretty happy but working from home I’m like man if I just work from Colombia with my US salary I’d live like a god.

Don't worry, French people are hated everywhere in Europe. The popular phrase: ''France is a great country but to bad French people live there'' is one of my favourites.Yes. Montreal is 2nd best if you can stomach the French, I am Italian so they make me sick.
