DiMarzio is saying inter will try to get Thuram in January or next season.

Gds is saying alternatives for Correa are Insigne, Jovic, Scamacca and Belotti.

Thuram contract expires in 2023. If they believe in him it wouldn't be surprising. Marotta will probably wait till summer and will try to lowball Gladbach.

Out of all the names we're linked with, i would go for Jovic if he's available on loan.

But Zapata wasn't even Atalanta's top scorer last season, it was Muriel. Zapata also played fewer minutes.

And this kind of projection is dangerous. It's like you're suggesting Belotti could score like Lewandowski if he had Kimmich or Muller around him.
I never suggested that.
But I think it's safe to assume that he would score more with Kimmich and Muller than he is with Baselli and Zaza. Which is basically what I said.

According to Pedulla, the deal for Correa could close for 28-30m plus bonuses and/or future sale percentage. Meanwhile, according to TMW apart from the price of the deal (Lotito still wants 35m plus bonuses) there's a disagreement between the clubs for the type of the operation. Inter have offered a loan with option which doesn't convince Lotito.

After the biggest sale in seria a history, your best offer is loan with option. I would have sent them to hell if I was lotito.
At least Marotta is playing smart here. Even if he has the money, you don't give the impression that you want to spend it. The negotiation should be like it always happens, over the fee, over the deal type (loan or outright purchase), payment terms, bonuses, etc.

Regarding Correa, he better come good for us. I am sure there will be no resale value, and that's why the price is very important.

a loan with the option to buy is actually very smart thing to do. We have no idea if any of these players will be any good, as all of them are not really that great. I agree with Drago, that the best deal would be a loan deal for Jovic. Even Real probably wants to give him out on loan. Paying upfront 30-35M for Correa is just too risky. I am no fan of Belotti, but i'd rather give Torino 20M than Lazio 35M. And Belotti is actually a striker that will give you at least 15 goals, while Correa could score 10 at most and we would have no replacement for Dzeko.

Don't have one.

Yeah, but you have to show some urgency as well, we don't have any choice either, everybody knows correa is our main guy right now after we waited too long for zapata and thuram, and they got injured. Dragging this too much won't help us in the sporting sense, unless you are one of those economy freaks that gets his dick hard if we fucked them over for a half a mil. Personally, I don't give a shit about that, I want this to be over as soon as possible, so he can be ready for friday.

People need to consider about both correa and belotti is that if they come, they will play with players that a lot of better than the shit they play with now..
I know its still kinda early, but look hakan as example and what he said also, personally i prefer correa or any other striker that can dribble 1v1..

you think lazios mf is shit? Or Immobile?

I mean their gk and defense isn’t as solid as ours but I don’t rate their mf worst than ours. I’d gladly take SMS

He DOES have experience in the league.

Regarding the goals from all our targets, he has the highest amount and in terms of ratio his is not far from Zapata who plays for the high scoring team of Atalanta with the likes of Papu Gomez, Ilicic and such to feed him while the best player Belotti had with him was Ljajic.

Take what you want from this.
Yeah, Belotti is one goal away from 100 goals in Serie A.
Judging from his 216' minutes at EURO where he mostly came as a late sub cameo is a bit unfair.
Here's my comparison for both deals, feel free to disagree. Regardless of who might come, I'm okay with both of these options considering our current situation.

Joaquin
Pros
- Suit Inzaghi tactics and may fulfilling his request.
- Dribbling and passing.
- Expected threats.
- Okay deal if Lazio is open to a loan with the option to buy.

Cons
- Require +30m to sign
- Strengthen rivals by providing funds to sign players.
- Expected goals (xG)

---------------------------------------
Belotti
Pros
- Available for ~20m to sign
- Expected goals (xG)
- Ambidexterity
- Create big chances and open up spaces for strike partners.
- Consistently play 30+ games / 90' minutes all season long.
- Potential locker room leaders (another ex-Captain)
- Doesn't strengthen rivals.

Cons
- Require ~20m to sign
- Mediocre performances in the past few seasons due to teams performances.

Belotti did not miss two penalties; he scored his against Spain and it was actually quite good.
My bad. But point is since he kicked off his NT career he has been generally poor, playing under 3 managers and only showing up against the likes of Lichtenstein, San Marino, etc. This is not Inter quality by any measure.

- Mediocre performances in the past few seasons due to teams performances.
So who's at fault for his poor performances with the NT?

You realize we have former for a coach. I think if he rated Belotti he would've pushed for him.

Belotti would make sense if Conte and Lukaku were still here. He doesn’t bring anything new to Dzeko or Lautaro’s role in the team. He would just be another striker.

Whereas Joaquin can play a supporting role alongside both Dzeko and Lautaro regardless of who starts and has attributes that the current roster doesn’t.

I don't get why people still bring NT performance as an argument? JM and Medela had great impact in NT and we bought them based mainly on that. Both of them were garbage. Belotti for 20mln is low risk deal cuz even if he flops it will be easier to get rid of him instead of Correa. The salary is also important here but from rumors it looks like we'll give 4mln net to Correa which is insane for me.

Pedulla - Inter and Lazio are at a stand. Inter's max offer is 30M. Belotti has been alternative for 5 days. If Correa leaves, Kostic would come in.

Sky - watch out for Belotti, as he is the alternative for Correa.

Well, i meant mostly to torino in that case, but still i think we have a lot better midfield than lazio and honestly i dont know how year after year immobile can score so much, this guy is so average and i think we will see that this year without inzaghi..

He's been mediocre / below par for club and country last 4 years.

Ridiculous. No wonder he wants to come here

Below par? Belotti has had +- 20 goals/ assists every year at freaking Torino, the team full of butchers and he carried all the attacking burden on this shoulder.

He has done a good job for his club. NT is another story.
