Agree with all what you wrote. But I still think it's fair to expect a better reaction from the captain in a final. I can't imagine Zanetti ever reacting like that - I think everybody can agree on this. Lukaku looked absolutely devastated after that goal (also shows how fragile his confidence is). Maybe , just maybe, a small pep talk could have lifted him a bit.

You can't count on mental change with goalies... Goalies should be always good mentally. It's 90% of their success. For them being mentaly weak means something like relying on injury prone Sensi to play whole season.

We have Conte and Marotta. If we get a GK he will be Italian and if I had to choose an Italian I'd go with Dollarumma just for the sake of it even though I think he is overrated.

Handa seems to pick bad habit deliberately. Several years ago, we could guarantee he would pick up unnecessary yellow card for winding up his goal kick or free kick. The habit vanishes but it is replaced with even more fatal weakness i.e. to give the dangerous short pass to his teammates. It has been starting from last season and it produces many heart-attack moments including yesterday's brainfart. Seriously, you are not Ederson or De Stegen and our players are not Laporte or Pique. Just hoof the ball forward if our players are already hard pressed.

FIF is probably the worst place for gk judging.

Wasn't it this place that was hyping up Lafont and wanted him as a starter over Handanovic? He's at freaking Nantes now on loan. Radu is hyped without anyone ever seeing him play. Frey would have been called the next Yashin by people, then they'd whine for him starting if this was 20 years back.

The only worthy heirs to Samir in Serie A atm are Donnarumma Meret, Dragowski and the best choice would be Musso.

its not handanovic's fault he has to play this short passes, but the system. Be happy it took so long that it cost us a goal. He had to learn to do this shit at 35 and tbh he's pretty good at it.... ohh and don't bring up Laporte, that guy is on the level of Ranochia.

Is that shit head not asking for something like 10mio to stay at BBilan? He s good but not that good IMHO, yes he s one of the best if not the best I ve ever seen at his age , but he still makes dumb mistakes, on top of that he keeps on bitching despite being at his youth club and already being the best paid player there(at least before ibra came). I d rather avoid that headache.

Well, if we got him on a bosman, 10mil salary vs paying 50mil for a keeper + giving them a 5 mil salary is the same thing (roughly). He's not worth the salary, I agree.

I'm unclear if his salary ask is the 'I'll stay at Milan' price, or 'I want this much' price - I was at least partly thinking it might be the 'stay at Milan' price tbh?
