Bad new boys, the Nike training jackets have leaked and pretty much give even further confirmation that next seasons home kit will have the zig zag stripes.

That's the worst looking jacket I've ever seen

Looks really good. For a 45 year old lesbian speed-dating rave attire.

Fuckn LOL! I cant stop laughing at this post!

The jacket is so ugly it hurts.

I actually can not remember the last time I had anything good to say about any of our team wear (especially the home shirts).

Anyone know of anywhere with the 19-20 away or third jerseys in stock? Have been looking for both for months in size M or L but seem to be sold out everywhere online

I have the away, which my cousin sent to me from Switzerland, and can confirm it's gone everywhere.

Wow. Everything is just so bad for next season. Every jersey, home, away and 3rd. Every piece of training and pre-match attire. Every jacket and item of general casual sportswear. It all looks like fucking garbage. I can not remember the last time this happened but next season's full set is absolutely disgusting across the board. Not a single half-acceptable piece of clothing from about 10 items.

I know a lot of people like the 3rd kit which takes inspiration from our great 3rd kits of 97/98 and 04/05. But I don't feel the same. I can't say this without sounding like a pretentious prick but I think if you like the 3rd kit you're being completely duped - and I'll explain why.

The entire appeal of next seasons 3rd kit, is to play on our nostalgia and our love of a classic design. On close inspection and further familiarity, it's nothing more than a very low quality rip off.

To give the best analogy - think about music. There are many garbage pop songs wherein their only redeeming factor is the catchy hook which has been sampled from an already-popular song. It's a common trick.

I got nothing against the rapper Nelly, but a couple of years back he put out a song called "The Fix", which was a disgrace.

The song uses the backing track and heavily features the chorus from Marvin Gaye's classic "Sexual Healing". "Baby, I'm hot just like an oven.." What an iconic melodic line in music history.. You're already singing it your heads. And the only reason Nelly's "The Fix" has any memorable effect whatsoever, is because it just repeats Marvin's iconic hook in Sexual Healing over and over. The rest of the song is utterly negligible. It plays on our nostalgia and it plays on our attachment and familiarity of this beloved melody.

Next season's 3rd kit is to our classic 1998 3rd kit, what The Fix is to Sexual Healing. It's a low-effort emulation whose only redeeming quality is the sparks of nostalgia it tries to create. The only thing good about it is it's similarity to what it's ripping off. When that's the case, you know what you have brings close to nothing to the table by itself.

Really low tier trash for next season.

If you sent that to the guy who approved the kit design he would cry everyday for the rest of his life 100%

The sad thing is that I don’t actually want to/ would be worried if we switched to addidas. Look what they’ve done to jube jerseys, half black and white this season and 3 brush strokes black lines on a basically plain white shirt just makes new think...

Why is there such a need to fuck about with teams traditional kits!!

I know there will be an argument for innovation etc but I honestly think that 95% of us would buy a new home shirt every season even if they just changed the line thickness alone. Most of us don’t need next level shit to make our home shirts looks amazing or and I don’t think most of us desire it to be radical design year on year!

I think most fans of any club are all pretty much biased enough that the colours we love and traditional pattern/ designs of our strips account for most if not pretty much all of the reasons why we’ll like a new shirt (even if not at first) even if it was just the same old design but with minor tweaks.

For me, it’s like they’re trying hard to think of new shit to try when in reality I think that they don’t actually have to.

If you're making a kit every year you'd eventually want to cause a stir.

The designers may see their new designs as innovative. However, especially in relation to our home jersey, I think they are a degradation of something that for most of us is simple and beautiful all at once.

I am not on Twitter, Instgram or Facebook. Over the years, I have given much thought to specifically signing up so I can post my remarks in relation to how shit our jerseys are.

Uni's post is absolutely spot on and is the kind of feedback that Nike should be getting when they release our jerseys. One voice could be wrong. But when everyone starts giving feedback like Uni's or the thumbs up or adding their own comments, then there has to be something in it. Imagine a post from Nike on the release of our kits followed by a comment like Uni's and then thousands of supporters agreeing how shit it is.

I dream of that day.

The jacket is not great, but I don't think that's because of the zig zags, it's more to do with the patterns on it.

I really like the look of the zig zag home kit, it's not quite as good as the current and previous home ones but it's still better than most other teams. We were spoilt this season as we had the best set of kits in Europe by far.

I don't like all this talk of moving to Adidas, I much prefer the feel and fit of Nike kits but Inter does need a higher paying kit sponsor, I just hope that Nike would be willing to match any offer from other firms. I'd prefer Puma or New Balance over Adidas as well. Not a major issue as I will still buy the kit no matter who makes them.

My Mate is a football nut. He lives in the Netherlands and is an Ajax season ticket holder. He has a five month old son and recently purchased him a membership and "kit" but the kit did not come with socks. When it comes to jerseys and kits, everything that is football related is important both for him and now his son.

My Mate ordered a baby Inter jersey with a number 10 from COPA for my daughter. It was her first and thus far only football jersey. Yesterday, I ordered an Inter kit (including socks) for a 9 month old and it will be delivered to their door step tonight. The kid's first ever football kit will be an Inter kit and that is an honor that can never be changed and will always be a part of the little boy's football history.

FORZA INTER!

What I would have preferred is that rather than some ‘timeless’ tat crapwear that they instead worked with Nike to re-release 2010 copies of the 2009-10 shirt.

That would have made some decent money I imagine.

Only die-hards wouldve bought it, Inter Store wouldve made the price point too high as with every other kit. I just bought a barella kit for 110 CAD local shop. But yeah I wouldve expected they did something bigger with the 10 year anniversary.
