already on world class levels, just needs to win to prove it.

He proved me wrong. He did well in the last two matches. Hope he keeps up the good work.
Didn`t took him a lot, right? ;)
he is our most gifted midfielder. Strong af, fast and clever.
You guys think I had him in my signature for no reason? Kept repeating for years that we need to sign him, he`s the real deal.

“Barella has precise characteristics and plenty of room to grow. He’s as generous as I was, he’s a lad who radiates energy from all his pores. We’ll have to be good at channelling the energy into the places we want. He’s a lad who has a lot of potential, he works hard and has made himself available. He has all the ingredients to become a pillar for Inter.” - Conte.

Last Inter player I felt this excited about was probably Kovacic. The word "gem" can't be more fitting and he's an all rounder. Runs, hassles, passes, screams etc. The kid has it all and plus he's passionate as fuck. I dare someone, anyone in FIF who doesn't like him.

It's amazing how inter fans whine of media agenda's against our new signings, bashing them at the first sight of slight fuck ups, when in fact, we are the harshest critics.

Barella always passed the "eye test", it was baffling how people did not see it.

I think pimp haters' out there should recognise my ability to recognise talent :p

Doubters probably just sounded loud, don't think there were that many of them. Just look at poll.

Nice game, now let’s see how he plays against both Juventus and Barcelona.

Its only fair we use the same measuring tape for both Barella and Sensi, right ;)?

Gay4Barella.

Sensi may be a better footballer overall, but Barella is just one of those who will go straight to your heart and stay there.

Both have exceeded my expectations.

I'm not going to pretend I'm a Sensi expert but in the handful of matches I saw of him previously, I didn't expect him to pose this much of an attacking threat, and more importantly, so reliably. His ball retention skills and game sense have always been visible and he ran circles around our midfield playing almost as a DM for Sassuolo. I remember him being difficult to dispossess and keeping things flowing smoothly.

Likewise, Barella had shown glimpses of class here and there. His eye for a pass, his ability to pick out a runner, or switch play effortlessly, his running in midfield etc. these were always on display at Cagliari. But it just wasn't enough tbh.

Massive credit to him though, because like Sensi, he's taken it up a notch at Inter and risen to the challenge so far. Possessing nice skills and good footballing IQ is one thing, but being able to make your mark on a game is another thing all together and much more difficult. I didn't expect them to be able to be so influential, so quickly.

One game at a time, though. Many a player has failed to live up to expectations after a great start. In between his missed 1v1 chance and his 3 or 4 row-z shots against Prague, dude could work on his shooting though.

Of all the things I really like about our new signings is not the skillset (we’ve had very talented players before who weren’t able to perform). It’s the goddamn character, it’s the attitude, it’s the fact that these guys never stop trying to do more. I love that about Dumbo and Skriniar, then De Vrij and Lautaro, and now it’s Lukaku (his attitude so far is totally unquestionable), Godin, Sensi and this guy here. It’s only a matter of time when the squad gets cohesive and we really start playing well, but even before that these guys’ attitudes really help us win.

More than anything, it is a joy to watch most of our players pushing real hard. I’m happy that we’re finally signing those kinds of players.
Even when our football is not spectacular, it’s still a freaking joy to watch!

to me, its always interesting to see how people adapt to big fish in small pond vs small fish in a big pond situations.

I think Barella and Sensi have both really stepped up to the plate. Obviously its early days yet only 6 games in, and we've seen similar from even Melo and Gagliardini, but lets hope they can keep it up.

If they can, then it might give us the chance to see if we can coax the real Gagliardini out, alongside two fellow italian midfielders

I'll stay a pessimist and say let's wait for December. Anything can still happen.
