Conte is a stepping stone just like Spalletti. Spalletti was what got us to CL. Hopefully Conte gets us to a Scudetto.

But like with Mancini, with Conte the max you are going to get is a scudetto. To eventually compete for the CL, we need someone like a Mourinho or Simeone.

It's a steep price for a stone. More like a boulder.

I think in europe with RuBe he had bad luck.... if he would have gotten the players he wanted maybe he would have made a couple finals like allegro did.

Hopefully our next coach is simeone. Keep some consistency with the 2 strikers and pretty similar mentality and intensity.

Even Mourinho was a stepping stone for Zidan, so your statement is not quite true. I think the idea behind Conte's appointment is exactly to challenge Jubentus and to stabilize the team's results. If the management supports Conte on the transfer market, he should be capable to build a strong squad with not so expensive players and maybe even to introduce some young players in the first team.

Antonio Conte is reportedly the highest-paid Coach in Serie A history on €11m per year at Inter, double the salary of second-placed Maurizio Sarri of Juventus.

nice 'steppping stone'

i expect wonders, starting from first CL game next week since top2 finish in serie a i take for granted

I think it's far more likely that Fiorentina will be minutes away from securing a great 1-0 win, only for Dalbert to come off the bench and make two disastrous errors gifting a late 1-2 comeback victory to juve. Or maybe that's what you already meant by "Dilbert masterclass."

you know what? i'm going to bet 2 euros on that, just for fun. i have to see what's the best combination for such a bet, i doubt i will find the "dalbert screw up" option, though i really, really feel it needs to exist.

Dalbert starts for Fiorentina.

352 with Chiesa and Ribery up front. Zero strikers. Nice, Montella. Good one.

There's always a 1% chance. Because, I̶n̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶o̶n̶e̶ anything can happen in football.

But then you remember, Fiorentina haven't won in 16 games going back to last season.

So I expect a crap game, a relatively easy win for juventus, and that famous shit-eating grin plastered all over Montella's face at full time.

If Caceres deserved a yellow for simply jumping up then Pjanic deserved a 2nd yellow for that foul on Ribery and a 1st yellow for te horrendous tackle 2 mins ago.

I seriously hpe Pjanic gets sent off in a crucial UCL game and RuBe get eliminated because of this cunt.
