Cavani and Icardi will never play together. But there are not much options... he would never go to Monaco

It's better to draw a veil over everything that happened in the last infamous months, at least for now, but at the end of the day we found a potential solution to this mess and Steven Zhang kept his promise (“no” to Juventus and “yes” to the best interest for the player).

The outcome is a bit ironic if we consider how the rossonerazzurro Leonardo talked about Icardi in the past, but I suppose things can change (just like the colours) and circumstances do the rest (especially the loan+option formula).

Pushing the narrative just for fun, this also feels like an important moment in the process of “de-morattization” of Inter as a club (with regard to some of the negative aspects of “Morattism” and its symbols): as always, to the posterity the tough sentence about Suning, Marotta and not only them.

I know, Mauro and Wanda have been deprived of their power and authority, dethroned and exiled from the city by people who had no right to their “FC Icardese Milano”, but the couple just received their compensation after the high treason and shouldn't complain that much.

If Icardi still remembers how to marquer les buts, and he certainly does, maybe PSG will splash the cash and we can all move on.

To sum things up, quoting a wise man: hopefully this “diritto di riscatto” (option for PSG to buy Icardi) won't become another “diritto di ricatto” (option for Wanda and Mauro to blackmail us).

Sometiems I have trouble understanding your posts, but somehow its still fun to read and I cant help but thank every post, keep it up.

I seriously doubt he will be any good at PSG. We’ll have this bitch back next summer.

He should score 50 goals a year now surely since we were holding him back with shit service

I actually hope he does well in PSG right away so those uber rich fucks will want to throw those 70mil at us already by December... And we would have the money for someone to dominate the midfield for us...
I wish we could snatch Eriksen somehow...
OK
Time for my pills and off to bed

Hopefully this is the last we see of him.

No he just going to score a hat trick on us during Champions league knockout rounds.....

Let’s see if he celebrates or his undershirt says “Wanda was Right :)

Very unhappy about this move.

I loved Icardi.... I even went to Argentina vs Colombia game last summer and rooted for him with my inter Jersey against my country lol.

He wanted to succeed with us.... he cried like a true interista when we lost to RuBe. He gave us many derby joys and he helped us back in CL.

The real person Icardi is came out once his capitan armband was taken..... just because he had done a lot for us he thought he was bigger than the club, he let the team, fans everyone in the inter family down.... the loss vs Frankfurt was soooo depressing. He wanted to prove that without him we ain’t gonna win... that we ain’t nothing without him.

I’m happy he’s gone, he’s replaceable and we’ll be drama free.

I have had a few different emotions this morning. Admittedly, seeing Icardi holding up a PSG jersey was a slap in the face. But on the other hand, his being sidelined by the club, the legal action, all the media speculation and the death threats made his continued presence at the club untenable. I feel that the relationships between the club, our management, the supporters and Icardi himself were irreparably damaged and we simply reached a point of no return.

I am not going to rehash the history that everyone on this forum is so familiar with nor am I going to wish him all the best and hope he does well in Paris. That is not because I do not want him to succeed or because I hate him. It is simply down to the fact that I am tired and have had enough where he is concerned. Right now, the overwhelming feeling I have for Icardi is an unpalatable distaste and the only other thought I have is that PSG is the ideal club for him because they are all for appearances and lack substance. In Icardi and Wanda, PSG have recruited perfectly.

Now that he is gone, I wish someone would spill the beans:what really happened that led to Icardi being stripped of his captaincy and eventually being sold. I feel we know less than half the truth.

Thank you for the goals, thanks for Derby wins (hattrick against Milan) the CL goals, the tears, the cold-blooded finishes and all the carrying you did for us offensively over the past years. It's sad that it ended ugly wish you nothing but the best for the rest of your career! No matter who comes in and out of these colors it's always FORZA INTER on to the next player to wear out beautiful colors.

You know what? Just like the man himself, probably that's what some of the 'Inter fans' who are actually more Icardi fans would like to see so much. They got too infatuated with Icardi that they put him above Inter. In other words, they would be happy if Inter failed without Icardi. I am not surprised to see them not give a single fuck about Inter anymore and start becoming PSG fans instead. These kind of 'football fans' exist and there are plenty of them nowadays. They follow players, not teams.

At the end of the day, it's just one player and we will just move on. We have lost many way greater footballers before (Ronaldo, Vieri, Adriano, Ibrahimovic, Eto'o, Milito, etc.), so why is losing Icardi such a big deal? What's with these 'Inter fans' who become all heartbroken, negative, and pessimistic thinking we would all off a sudden become a relegation battle team, just because we don't have fucking Icardi in the team anymore? Fuck, some actually WISH we would fail hard without Icardi, so that they can gleefully say "Haha! Yes! See? I told you we would fail without Icardi! Yeah!". The term Icardese Milano FC used by some here is real. These fans only care about "Did Icardi score?", not "How did Inter play?". If he didn't score, it was the team's fault for not spoon feeding him with great service.

We had many games without him playing and we managed just fine, if not better. He's not irreplaceable whatsoever.

I have no grudge against him, but this is a good riddance. He's a quality FINISHER (not gonna use the term player or even striker here), but a fucking nightmare in terms of professionalism. Regardless, I thank him for all the goals and emotions. Hope you'll kill it in France, Mauro.

Lucky he went on loan.

Or else FIF would have to answer the trickiest question of the century: Should Icardi be in LGI or not?

Well damn. I came here to be joyful that Icardi is gone, not to cry myself to sleep

No, he should not. If Ronaldo is not there, nor should Icardi, who's not even close to that level and is a much worse kind of traitor. He hasn't won us anything either, by the way, not even a coppa Italia.

He was man of the match against Lazio in the UEFA cup, where we won 0 3. So he actually did win more than Icardi.

Ronaldo won us a Scudetto, 1998 will always be a blemish on Italian football.

Anyway he would have been La Grande then he decided to take 40 days off.
