It will be interesting to see if the media reports about the fall out between Spalletti and some of then players are true or not. This is exactly what the media wants: stirring controversy. The panic has already spread to FIF.
We definitely need to be cautious. Lazio appears to be back in form, while we fail to win against below average teams. But this is nothing new, our inability to beat Sassuolo and Torino has been around for several years now.
Usually we manage to turn up against bigger teams, so the team should see this as a chance to regain the trust from the management and the fans.
These players have proven time and time again that the only thing they care about is themselves. I don't think they give half a shit about "regaining the fans trust." All of them just want the season to be over now.
How much someone wants something is most visible when things get hard - just like a penis. You can see someone wants something badly when they fight for it in the face of difficulty. When our team faces difficulties, they don't fight for it. They capitulate and they give up. Observe all the false dawns of the post treble banter era. Observe Icardi's epic misses against Sassuolo and Milan last season. Look at Spalletti's game-losing, suicide moves vs juventus last season. Look at the team against PSV and Torino for example. What I'm saying is, we have year after year, player after player, coach after coach, and game after game's worth of evidence to conclusively prove that.
This team, including the coach, doesn't deserve trust until it proves itself worthy of it.
