Are you sure your not drunk?

Fast? and very good one on one?:einstein:

He has less lost balls than most wingers in serie a, and pretty sucessfull dribbling ratio. As for pace.. He rarely shows it but he is pretty fast. You seem to forget how Koulibaly got red carded just 2 games ago. And it was 80th minute too.

There is a contrast between Verdi and Politano. Verdi has great set pieces, can score and pass, while Politano can do everything else. Still early to say who's the better between the two as they are very different players occupying the same positions.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter have already decided to redeem Politano. Marotta has already given his approval to pay the 20m option for Politano. No decision has been made yet about Sime Vrsaljko and Keita Balde.

Transfer Guru
I think its still too early to judge Politano at Inter. Sometimes players can take longer to achieve their best when they jump from a small club to a top one, its very understandable. Perhaps end of the season we will have a better idea.

I was critical of this transfer in the summer, and so far my opinion hasn't changed. He does not have the quality to be a starter at Inter, and he will have to improve his end product to convince me otherwise. If he does not improve by end of the season, I would still buy him but only because he is worth more than the 20m option. I would then either sell him for profit, or use him as makeweight to get a top quality RW. Karamoh can be a cheaper vice-RW with a higher ceiling (potential).

But lets see how Politano does for the rest of the season, hopefully he will prove me wrong.

From his recent interview with GdS:

...Looking at the past season with Sassuolo where I scored so many goals. That was an exception because I played in another role. But now, I have to score more, to be more deadly when the chances come. I am working hard on this.”

Good to see he is aware of that. Shows maturity.

I read that Napoli is offering 22 m for Kouame. I think we should have gone for him at this price because he will be cheaper than Keita or Politano.

I think we used to own Kouame :D

We had this understanding with Prato that their players were basically ours but not officially. We simply passed on him, not sure why.

I am not surprized. Spalletti insists on Keita (I like Keita by the way) and Kouame is in front of him and for only half of Keita's price.

If we want gambling for cheaper option its better if we redeem Salcedo since he really have potential to being big. I bet he can do as much as damage like Keita if we give him trust in the first team.

Disagree. Raising a kid that becomes a great person because of your effort is the most mature thing.

Looking at the top list of assists, there isn't a single Inter player in the top 15, then Politano comes at 16th place with 3 assists. Suso is at the top with 8. Other than him there is only Keita in the very bottom with 2 assists. You can't be more Inter than that.

Our midfield is the worst in Serie a. So where would the assists come from?

We desperately need a Sneijder type of player.
