Forum Supporter10 years of FIFI completely agree. Barbosa has not only been completely pathetic, he's also been an embarrassing signing with all the hype.
I've never liked this signing from the very beginning.

10 years of FIFI missed the post-treble part of this thread.
Pre-treble, I think Vampeta (now coach of Gremio) was possibly the worst Inter transfer of all time. He arrived in 2000, played a game for us and somewhere along the way decided that he wanted to return to Brazil for vacation and never came back. If I am not mistaken, he wanted to be in Rio de Janeiro for Carnival.
There have been some real shit kickers at Inter since the Treble. Some of the players, such as such as M'Vila, Kharja, Palombo, Montoya, Taider, and Ansaldi are absolute contenders but my money is on either Kondogbia, Barbosa or Ciao Mario simply because of the amount of money spent on those players and what we got in return in terms of output and performances.
Lastly, I have saved a special word for Álvaro Pereira. He was a real Shit Cunt. I have no idea how he ended up at Inter. I do not think I have cursed an Inter player as much as I cursed him. Up until reading this thread, I had managed to erase him from my collective memory but this thread has brought it all back. Complete fuckn shit!

I would've voted Coutinho, eyes closed. According to the available options, Barbosa it is. Atleast Mario and Kondogbia have been serviceable at some games. Let's say we've retained like 15m each for their mediocre services on the pitch. Barbosa, on the other hand, was 30m completely flushed down the toilet with absolutely NOTHING in return on and off the pitch.

10 years of FIFBut looking at poll option now I decide it will be Ranocchia. Its simply because we give him so many trust and think he will be like next Nesta and our legend in making. Made him as captain and center of our defense line, people think he is some potential monster and just swallowing every bit of his mistakes. Blame every partner he has first from Lucio, Samuel, Silvestre, Vidic or even Juan before him. And then we finally realized he wasnt good enough for us to give so much trust on him, even it need us 4 years but think its better than late or else we will stick with him and wonder where is goes wrong on our defense line. And now I see Ranocchia on Romagnoli with Milanista love to hyping him so much and even give him an armband lol hope they stay like that for next 5 years atleast.
Joao Mario...without a question. Fail to see how this is even a debate. Gabi was bad but he was brought in more as a prospect, Ranocchia is definitely up there but no one can top Joao Mario. we bought this fucker for 40 million plus and paraded him as the european champion ready to lead our midfield and take us to the next level only to find out he has worse attitude than Balotelli and a 5 year old has a better shot than him and now we can't even offload him

I think Wallace who we loaned from Chelsea deserves an honorable mention. Not as the worst transfer but probably as the worst player that we signed. The guy hasn't played a game since 2016 and is currently a free agent, probably not even a professional footballer anymore

I feel like a few of these don't quite deserve to be included or are at least borderline.
Kuz sucked, but IIRC we bought him for 1m, he pretty much performed like I expected for that pricetag, for example. And I think we sold him on for a small profit too.
The one I'm really scratching my head over though is Murillo. We bought him for 8m+2m, he exploded and looked like a 40m player for half a season when there were rumors of mega-offers from Spain... then he just kinda puttered out. However we still sold him for a profit. A small profit, but still a profit. Yeah he's not what he first appeared to be, but does that really make him a "bad transfer"?
