Damn that Suso guy reminds me of a Robben without pace. Still extremely dangerous.

Great at cross, dribbling, and especially shooting. The curling of his ball is unbelievable.

He was limping and so was Cutrone.

effectiveness
Regarding effectiveness, here is his number:

- last season, with Kalinic upfront: 8 goals 14 assists.
- this season: 3 assists in 4 matches. This match vs Empoli, without Higuain upfront, he provided at least 5 clear chances in the last 20 minutes.

How the hell can he be more effective? That's his teammates who were wasteful and ineffective, not him. Inconsistent, I agree.

Assuming we're competing with Milan, Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina for 3rd/4th spots, we're not in a bad position atm point wise.

We are 2 points ahead of Roma, level with Fiorentina and assuming Milan win their game in hand, we are one point ahead of them.
We're only behind Lazio by 2 points.

I understand that they've had more difficult games than us but for Inter a game against Cagliari isn't easier than Napoli so I don't really care. We've been lucky that the rest of our competition has had less than ideal starts.

we should be competing for 2nd place with Napoli...everything else is bla bla...what the club says...competing for 4th place...is fucking pussy talk...the amount of transfers we made...the quality of them...2nd place or 3rd...everything lower is a disappointment for me.

Bbilan is shit,Roma is pfff...Roma,Fiora and Lazio shouldn't be the same league with us... Sassuolo 3rd...not for long

Or they have been lucky that we had a shitty start!
It s all about perspective!
Imho out of our rivals only roma is worse then i thought they would be. Bbilan is pretty much what i expected and lazio and fiore are arguably preforming better than expected!

You also expected Spalletti to be here for 5 seasons.

Style wise. But in terms of quality, nowhere near. Unlike Suso, Robben is effective and rarely loses the ball. Suso loses way too many balls and is ineffective against good at anticipation defenders. His crosses and shots are great tho.

The penalty was taken very well by Caputo, except of Handanovic who doesn't jump, no other goalkeeper would save that. :D

A well placed penalty kick cannot be saved by any goalkeeper.

Piatek to Juve makes more sense than to Inter. Their current strikers are 33 year old Ronaldo, who isn't a striker, and 32 year old Mandzukic. Sooner or later they need to get a new one. On the other hand, we have Icardi and Lautaro. Unless Icardi gets sold, there's no point for us getting a third forward while our starting midfielder is Vecino and Candreva has been reinstated as our starting RW.

I wouldn't mind selling Icardi to reinforce our midfiled and wings with other players. Not so sure Piatek is really that good or just having a good start of the season at the moment.

Milan were unlucky last night again. Empoli keeper was crazy good! Watching milan they still play better football than us but their depth is pathetic.

They did press in the last 10 mins or so, but till then, didn't do much. Empoli also had their chances, they had 2 clear cut chances, even hitting the post once.

Too bad reality states that it will be tough to get to 4th.

I didn't watch all Milan matches, but quite a bit. Unlike our Keita, who uses pace to dribble, Suso style of dribbling is much less risky and rarely loses balls. It's true that Suso often disrupts the counter attack, because of his combo of weaknesses (slow and a ball hogger). But he would be a great solution to unlock buses.

No, I don't think so. Yesterday I felt like watching two lower table teams, losing balls way too much all over the pitch due to poor movements and poor ball control. Empoli didn't even bother parking the bus, as they felt they could win. Milan gameplay was basically Suso, alone, nothing else.
