Hi, guys, it's your threadstarter here. I couldn't watch the game, so I'll watch the highlights here http://footyroom.com/matches/79957173/inter-vs-tottenham-hotspur/review

I'd just like to say, given how Icardi scored and Kane didn't, and how Inter won against an EPL side, I will refrain from commenting on Brehme's rants about EPL teams and players from now on... until we play Tottenham again. Enjoy the win, guys, it feels great to start with a win!

Remember the Pandev-effect?

The dawn of the Vecino-effect is upon us: play like a raging garbage fire for 85 minutes only to score a dodgy winner of unquestionable importance.

Game kicked off at 04:55 here in New Zealand, knowing I wouldn't wake up that early I decided to stay up to watch it. Now must go about my day on no sleep whatsoever...

Worth it :fuckyea:

Fuck what agreat fucking feeling!!

I m over the moon if we only played like this kn serie a we d have 4 wins out of 4 games.
Anyways good fight shown by the lads never give up thats the spirit!

Also once icardi and radja get an understanding going we re going to be scary! Cause as of now they did not get eachother! But if they click we re gonna have it soo much easier!

Asamoah MOTM for me

Inter player ratings vs Tottenham
By Football Italia staff

Kwadwo Asamoah - 5
One could be forgiven for forgetting that Asamoah was playing tonight, but he did pop up with the game’s most important cross, the ball from the left hand side to find Mauro Icardi on the edge of the box. He was largely out of proceedings for part of the game but you could tell at times that his Champions League experience played into the game. He dealt with Serge Aurier well, at least at times, and while he could have done much better, the Ghanaian was solid.

im not sure about this, i should rewatch the goal. But i saw that Icardi was only outside the box because he got hurt from a tottenham player while jumping so he was staying there for 4-5 seconds and touching hes shoulder. At this time Asamoah already was was running on the left with the ball and then made the cross, Tottenham players dont saw Icardi from behind. If Icardi would not wait after the foul, he would run like always in the box and nobody was outside!

He was at the right place, at the right time, sometimes things work out like that. And who would have thought that he will have a killer shot like that.. i thought it will go for peanuts, but it was an amazing voley instead.

He was hit by the foot of Ben Davies on the back or the ribs, then Vecino did his magic trick and found a wild Asamoah who saw an emerging Icardi outside the area and then Vorm Ben Davies fainted. He probably was hurt as fuck at the time he scored, it was an ugly challenge by Davies.
No clue why I got a Pokemon reference out of all this.

The praise goes to Asamoah for seeing Icardi on that particular spot and crossed over there instead of rushing it towards the box. Icardi just did what he does best, a killer finishing.

What a fuckin game, was watching it on my phone at work and had to go to the toilet for the last 10mins. Best 10mins ever spent in a toilet

Icardi turned up big time with that goal when it mattered, again.. Also fuck Tottenham and their shit cunt fans.
