So what's the normal procedure when a team moves? Do the fans move as well or do they wait for someone to fill the void? It's all so foreign.
They protest, they lose, they wait.
You're the market, they're the product. You can't shovel out $400 Million for a new stadium? Fuck you, they're going to a town that can.
Your club is the first in league history? Fuck you, you don't have a magical checkbook with a magical $400 Million to magically build a new stadium.
There's no winning in America sports, for the fans. It's far too corporate, and the closed league structure kills any hope for a city to found its own club to launch up. Wimbledon FC left Wimbledon for Milton Keynes and the Wimbledon residents made a new club, launched it to the 3rd tier. That hasn't happened in the US since probably the mid 1800s. It's retarded.
Word.
the country is very big, what you guys need imho is regional leagues in a new league: that would strengthen the link of the clubs with the territory. i mean, there must be someone interested in such a project.
soccer/football will probably never be a mainstream sport in the u.s. but the fan base is still relatively big. i think many people would love to have their local club in a structured league
I support Esteghlal FC in Iran and obviously its not better than Inter at all. If both play together I'll prefer to stay neutral
Maybe It seems weird but beside Inter I support Real Madrid as well.
Yes exactly it isIsn't that Strama's team?
If I have to choose between Hajduk and Inter I would choose Hajduk. No insult intended.
