Didn't both Perisic and Gagliardini fuck off to the wrong side?

yes they did...however perisic specifically told galiardini to go to the wrong side indicating that he would cover suso instead...

anyway an assist to make up for it.....

best thing about inter this season so far is their never die attitude...keep it up lads FORZA INTER!

Again Joao Mario trequartista, again Candreva... if we not win this, Spalletti is the first one to blame here.

again with rubbishing the manager and again with the egg on face

7 wins 1 draw but but valeros shit but but vecinos shit but but we ddint get shtick

Inter is coming

What a game! The derby is back!

Brehme pointed out what happened. \\hopefully when the team gel they will not make such mistakes. This is the case when you can see the benefits of a homogeny team who know each others. They do not have such brainfarts.

1 half we were definitely better. 3man defense of Milan were exposed by our wings, Valero was good as usual at dictating the tempo and aside of few farts Vecino/Gags and 2 CB closed the area. Nagatomo was not in danger because Kessie-Borini were useless. Milan attacked from left side with Bonaventura and RR but Candreva and Dumbo hold their ground pretty well.

2 half was another story. Montella moved very well and Spaletti played with his balls for too long. Even if few here have laughed, Cutrone move was very good. A second striker between our CB, who were not be able to step up to help the midfield line. Also Suso was deploy on the right side of their attack and together with Borini exposed Borini. But most importantly Valero and Candreva were tired and that allowed of their CB to go forward and support their midfield.
I think Spaletti should have brought Eder and and Cancelo much earlier like 60m. And was the game when we miss the grittiness of Mario or Brozo in the second half in the middle.

Looking at Suso's goal again, the fault definitely lies on Perisic.

Gagliardini was actually positioned pretty good until Perisic told him to move on his left and then proceeded to move there as well.

I am one of the two who voted for Candreva as Man of the Match. Ofcourse, Icardi scored a hat-trick, but we know his qualities. Just doing his work. Candreva is 98/100 times utterly shit and more useless than Guarin, so relatively i think he did better than Icardi yesterday.

That's not how MOTM works. You say he did relatively better compared to Icardi. He didn't. Compared to Icardi he did worse. You compared Candreva relative to his previous performances.
Basically, you voted on "Candreva of the Inter career". :D

Perisic isn't saying to him to go left, he's telling him to halt and that he'll go there (don't you guys speak Italian? :D ). It's a clear "stay there" signal. Gagliardini is a DM right outside our box with an opponent holding the ball and he decides to chase the right back until he changed his mind. Mostly because our LB was doing nothing as well. Perisic is the only one not being lost in that situation. Just look at Nagatomo and Gagliardini, what are they doing ffs?

When you point your arm towards a specific direction, it means go there or cover that side. If he wanted Gagliardini to hold position he should've pointed his hand backwards towards him with the stop / halt / hold gesture:

Also it doesn't make sense for you to be the player that's marking the player with the ball and then telling someone else to handle it while you go mark someone else. If you're marking someone, you need to stick to him.

I don't know if you've tried it before, especially playing football.but it's hard to show your full palm to a person behind you :D

This means stay put in every possible sign language.

And this is the initial gesture. Pointing towards Nagatomo when Musacchio appears. He actually looks towards Naga before raising his hand, it's too obvious. Then tells Gagliardini to stay put. He even makes a rapid movement signalling to stay put as I see it again. It's quite simple really.

Insignificant yet fun discussion :D

BTW i was wondering if the coreo of the curva nord: "Fai goal, fallo per la Nord" was towards Icardi? His celebration and the curvas reaction to Icardis goals made me think so.

Anybody got any insight on this. Or was it just a general message to the squad?
