My question is what did he think would happen from these comments? Surely he and Wanda knew that it would cause a fucking shit show. Threatening to kill ultras which basically amounts to threatening a big group of gang members? Maybe he wanted to cause a stir to increase book sales?

This is my guess: obviously he didn't write the book, he likely told stories to a professional writer who wrote the thoughts. So picture Icardi in a room with Wanda and the ghost writer, talking about his past at Inter. Icardi mentions the Sassuolo game as being the turning point into him being a leader for the team, Wanda (being the attention whore/publicity freak) ensures the story become a little controversial/fun. Icardi, who has demonstrated time and time again a complete unwillingness to stand up to Wanda, rolls with the story because he finds it funny and feels like an Alpha. Ghost writer writes it, and Icardi doesn't think twice about it.

I blame Icardi for being a complete pussy who refuses to take control of his life and stand up for himself, I blame Wanda for more than likely being the reason this pathetic excuse of a book was written, I blame our incompetent management for not demanding to proof read this atrocity before it was published, and I blame Mancini for making this dick of a player our captain in the first place.

Curva Nord outside Icardis mansion: "We're here, tell us when your Argentinian friends are coming"

Am I the only one that surprised that the outside of a millionaire's residence looks so un kept? I mean who is the grounds staff around this place? Surely he's paying a shit ton in HOA fees. A little landscaping could go a long way.

Also, am I the only person wondering how Icardi has 100 goons in Argentina ready to move intercontinentally at the drop of a hat for an alley way brawl? Didn't the kid move from Argentina when he was like 6 years old?

So many questions...

Seems like Vardy has it figured out with his simplified "Chat Shit, Get Banged" mantra. No specific victims, no issues.

What comes to mind is when Vieri was fighting with our Ultras. He would score goals but they would whistle and wanted him out. This is going in that direction. The only difference is that Icardi is 23 years old and has his whole future ahead of him. In the end, he will be forced out and Inter will lose a great goal scorer because of stupid shit written in the autobiography of a 23 year old.

Has anyone read the book? I'm just curious as to whether or not the whole "I'll get my Argie mates to kill you" thing was him describing his state of mind on that day, or a current feeling.

If it's how he felt on the day, then I don't see what the problem is. He was a young kid who was getting abused by a bunch of people who have no idea how to do his job - of course he wanted to lash out. It's disrespectful, yes, but nowhere near as bad as showing up to his house (where his children live) and leaving a threatening banner...

Does it matter? We've never been a great attacking side with him as our main striker. In fact we scored more goals with Palacio leading the line with Guarin, Ricky, Cambiasio, and Kova/Taider as his supporting cast. Yet time and again I read about how much we would struggle without him and his goals, but there is no data to back this up whatsoever.

Although, If we get the Icardi we got against Juventus, or the one we got against the second Napoli match last season on a more regular basis then my opinion would be very different.

Childish from both sides. Retarded from Icardi to even think about getting a book out and retarded from Curva Nord.

Leave someone's house/private out of it. Icardi & Wanda might like the attention and hate, doesn't mean her kids do.

well Icardi and Wanda first should've think about the kids before start dealing with ultras.

Ultras offer Icardi truce... but on ONE condition

Icardigate has completely devastated Inter, the Nerazzurri striker cutting a forlorn figure as his team lost 2-1 to promoted Cagliari, amidst numerous incidents of abuse from hardline Inter fans, offended by a passage in his autobiography.

And yet, the Curva has now offered the under-siege striker a deal: if Mauro Icardi decides to recall his book... then all will be forgiven.

The Ultras would like the 23-year-old to republish his book... provided it doesn't contain the incriminating passages they don't like.

Oh, censorship? Nothing wrong with that!

Man, Maradona can go do his fucking drugs and leave poor innocent Icardi alone fucking hell.
not so poor [5m/season], not so innocent [lying in his book just to pose himself as a hero]

Sooner or later Icardi`s BIG EGO will cost him dearly. Not everyone got the talent of Ibrahimovic to make up for his 'atittude'.

INTER must strip Icardi of the captaincy STARTING TODAY. No excuses. Give him a hefty fine, too. Fucking idiot.

Stripping him of the captaincy will only further the off field problems that the team doesn't need by possibly creating locker room drama. If he needs a punishment, bench him. Roma did that with De Rossi.

Don't worry, they'll forget all those things when Icardi scores the winning goal.
They won''t. He didn't score any goal. He actually missed a penalty. I think he should not be taking them any more, Candreva is surely better suited for taking penalties.

All this stuff is so boring. I only care about what happens on the pitch. If I ever hear icardi or anyone else talk about this stuff on tv, I will immediately switch channel
Like it or not, football is MORE than just a match or a series of matches. Top clubs have high moral values, and he are lucky to support an elite club from this point of view. ULTRAs are the backbone of any supporters organization all accross Europe, as they make the most sacrifices to support the team. They are the most informed, they CANNOT be manipulated by the players/management as a result. They are the contemporary superheroes taking care the club is run properly. They are our representatives and they make sure JUSTICE is SERVED. I've been part of the local ULTRAS movement for my nation-wise respected local team UTA Arad, so I have a background in this sense. I'm not just a keyboard supporter, I've travelled for many away matches and have been directly involved in all kind of situations: from setting up coreographies to fighting opposite ULTRAS and CAPTURING THE FLAG of opposite brigades [meaning they have to disolve]. There are unwritten rules of how things work. Fair fights. Etc.

ULTRAS will never accept such a disgraceful attitude by a player, let alone to swallow someone behaving like that while wearing the CAPTAIN`s armbrand. There is a certain MENTALITY that excludes dishonest behaviour. This is the mentality that sepparated us from other scumbags like juBentus [cheating in order to win vs VINCERE SENZA RUBARE] and even if we lose some matches, we NEVER LOSE OUR DIGNITY.

I'm just waiting patiently for confirmation from the club that Icardi's captaincy has been stripped.

Furthermore, the club should enforce the telecast providers to stop zooming in on Wanda's cheap, dog ugly face everytime she's in the stands.

ULTRAs 101

You know what, fuck the curva nord.

I'll be extremely disappointed with the club and all their staff, Zanetti included, if the club sides with those cunts and leave Icardi alone in this situation. Who the fuck they think they are and harrass a player in his house, it's plain disgusting. And they do not represent me as an Inter fan, I couldn't care less if that people doesn't go to the stadium.

It's disgusting the way we've given them power like they're something more than an organized bunch of very dangerous fans with some nice tifos.
The fact alone that Zanetti publicly admitted this behaviour is unacceptable should force you to THINK.
Die hard fanatics pay real money and sacrifice time from their lives to support INTER week-in week-out. How would you feel to receive a threat like that in a BOOK?! It's not a SCIENCE FICTION book you know, it's a fuckin` BIOGRAPHY.

Icardi put himself into this situation, it's not like the ULTRAS made him do all the shit and controversy he has caused recently. If he's stupid enough to listen to Wanda, his agent and/or publisher, he should take responsibilty for it, just like the rest of his teammates are taking [Brozovic, Kondogbia...]

FYI: they DID NOT harrass a player IN HIS HOUSE [wtf?! :palm: ], they just posted that message in front of his house. You clearly know little about the ULTRAS movement, maybe you should read more about its history, given the fact that you support an Italian team - ULTRAS are born and rooted in Italy. Maybe you should also learn to make the distinction between HOOLIGANS and ULTRAS.

Nobody gave power to them, they already had it long before you were born. If those people would not go to the stadium, we would end up having mercenaries on the rooster that DO NOT SWEAT BLOOD for our badge and DO NOT GIVE THEIR ALL on the pitch. Oh wait, that sounds like Icardi...

I want to boldly underline that the CLUB, not a player or employee fucked up. BIG TIME.

I just can't imagine how no one forced Icardi's ghostwriter or editor to update them on the material, so the club has a say in what gets to be printed. Absolutely laughable. In most companies, you sign an NDA, which has passages that protect the company if you leak, not only confidential information but any information that could harm the company.

Then I'd also like to point out the whole scandal isn't about the thrown back jersey, it's about how Icardi admits openly like it's no biggie, he had ideas of hiring men to kill other men, who by the way happen to be the most loyal clients of the company he works for.

A clusterfuck. Now, once again we're faced with a lose-lose situation. We either piss off the fans or our top-earning player and he starts to underperform.

And excuse me, but ultras are THE CLUB, not some big-mouthed kid who'll dump us for the next big paycheck.

This is fucking retarded from all parties involved. Revoking his captaincy will only cause more problems than we need right now.

PS: Fuck the ultras.
:chan: what the fuck am I reading?!

Icardi acted like a primadonna spoiled brat all summer, letting Wanda whore his way and force a highly [and undeserved, if you ask me] improved contract. Inter made him THE STAR he always wanted to be... and now THIS?! :palm: FUCK ICARDI!!!!

If the club fails to teach him a lesson, he will be out of control. Kids are the way you raise them.
we are a joke of a club.
Exactly! That`s to the extent the management lets this happen. Or doesn't let this circus continue. It's all up to them. The image of the club is in their hands. They need to make a STATEMENT now, just like how they made a powerful [financial] statement in the summer by rejecting all offers for Icardi.

Club made a huge mistake in supporting Icardi`s book and making a campaign for that without checking his book. I mean it's like the club agrees with the content - Icardi threating ULTRAS of INTER. ULTRAS feel betrayed, it's normal to express their emotions.

There are 2 relations that need to be carefully fixed now. Solutions are available and Icard could still keep playing for us many years if he gets his shit str8 and learns his lesson:

1) between Icardi and the club :: should be stripped of captaincy. INTER`s captain can't be Wanda!! He accepts this decision with dignity and humility, like he fucking should. And work a lot more for the team. Fuckin` selfish prick.

2) between Icardi and the CURVA NORD :: it seems that they are open to make peace with Icardi[as their #1 priority is INTER's well-being, so they realize it's a bad situation for our results, the team needs peace of mind+support], so they are asking for the book to be recalled, that chapter to be removed from the book and re-issued. That shouldn't be a problem for Icardi as his family`s financial situation DOES NOT depend on this book. It would be an OFFICIAL apology to the ULTRAS, more than just a shitty Instagram post [who the fuck cares about Icardi`s Instagram anyway, REAL ULTRAS don't!]

If Icardi is such a MAN - that he claims to be - he will understand the whole situation HE created, work his way up again and return even stronger. :challenge:
