First off, great to see us win at that stadium, make it a tradition from now on.

Sorry, you were saying...?? :megusta:

Let me help you with that.

Our ultra attacking team haven't a shot on goal in 50 minutes.

where are all the 'I do not care how Inter wins, just win'

Pretty sure you cannot consistently win without shots on target

It seems you are blind, the only thing I said was the truth. And then it happened, second shot on target, boom, goal.

If you are trying to convince me that you can win games (plural) without a shot on goal, consistently, then you are a troll or a dunce.

Good day, sir.

We still have no midfield. Kondogbia makes too much alibi passes in my opinion and has too little output. We need a midfield with whom we can controll our opponents.

Maurizio Sarri insisted his row with Roberto Mancini “should stay on the pitch” after accusations of homophobic slurs.

The pair clashed on the touchline during the final minutes of Inter’s 2-0 Coppa Italia victory away to Napoli.

When speaking to Rai Sport afterwards, Mancini claimed Sarri was “a racist and homophobe who should be ashamed and drummed out of football” for his insults.

“It was the kind of argument that people have on the touchline or on the pitch,” shrugged Sarri.

“I apologised to him in the locker room, but I expected him to apologise to me too. I think what happened on the pitch should stay on the pitch.”

Did Sarri use those homophobic slurs?

“I can’t remember, it’s possible. I was fired up and angry, so I’m not sure what I said. Adrenaline does strange things to people and can trip you up. As far as I’m concerned, it was part of the game and at the 90th minute it’s all over.

“Am I homophobic? That seems over the top. I was just irritable. I said something out of rage at the Dries Mertens red card and I have nothing against Mancini. We are men of sport, these things happen, and it only lasted 10 seconds.

“I don’t know why Mancini was so offended. It has become something now that goes outside of the pitch and I wouldn’t have done that. I accept someone else might think differently.

“I apologised to him in private, I don’t know what more I can do. I’ll repeat it tomorrow, but it seemed to me a normal argument people have on the pitch.

“I will admit it wasn’t the right tone to take, but I’ve seen and heard worse on a football pitch. Under stress it can happen, I hope with a clear head Mancini changes his mind.

“I was not discriminating against anyone. If I did indeed use those words, then I apologise to the gay community.”

It would be quite something if we win the cup having beaten Napoli, Juve then Milan!

It would be even more Inter to beat Napoli and Juve while Milan get beaten to the final by a Lega Pro side and then lose the final to the Lega Pro side.

Sarri is no stranger to controversy. Last year while still in charge of Empoli, he was fined €5,000 after a match against Varese after making a rude gesture towards fans but escaped punishment for making similar comments.

“Football has become a sport for fags,” said Sarri. “We suffered twice as many fouls, but we had more yellow cards. It’s a contact sport in Italy and but the whistle is blown a lot more than in England because of the interpretation by homosexuals.”

Respect to Mancini for not taking any shit from Sarri, but I'm with Sarri on this one. He apologized for irritable comments said in the heat of the moment and I do think Mancini overreacted somewhat - not by arguing mano e mano on the pitch/sidelines, I'm all for that kind of thing, but by his comments said to the press.

He did say sarri to Mancini in the locker room. That was a necessarri gesture. But it was definitely a slur and would have needed censarring had it been audible on the broadcast.

Hopefully this loss will affect Napoli in Serie A and get them disarriented.

Ok, I'll stop now.

Maybe it's just a strategy to try and disrupt the harmony in Napoli's dressing room so they lose points.

Or maybe he took it personally be cause he is actually into men... You know... After his divorce he might want to discover new things

It's also different when it comes to managers. Wont it be awkward if a coach callas another coach in the sidelines a "fag"? I mean players might get into those incidents because they are the ones in actions. Managers just stand there in touchlines and then calls you fag in the face. It's disrespectful. At the end of the day he apologized so everything should be fine.

Well in the heat of the moment Mancini took the offense quite personally. His anger happened spill over into the interview. Oops. I guess things like these happen on the pitch.

Being gay doesnt mean you're of a complete another race :serious:
