Losing points, at home, to Fiorentina should never be 'logical'.

Never say never :alone: Given that we're at the early stages of the season it rather is ''logical'' . Yes , we are Inter , yes they'll probably always be a tenth of the club Inter is , but taking under consideration this seasons characteristics it is at least acceptable/understandable. If the same thing happens after a couple of months , then yes , it can't be acceptable.

People still forget that is still a new team, if the play is still shit by December then we are probably in trouble. We have the quality just need to give them time and hope they start to click more often than not.

Handanovic was dreadful, two goals were his fault and the sending off was his fault as well but it happens it's football not everyone has a perfect game every week.

Then Mancini made two dreadful mistakes, the flipping to a 3 man defense when 0-2 (but I understand the logic giving us more legs in midfield) still it was an awful decision and removing Kondo to keep Guaro on was stupid.

Anyway the reaction in the second half wasn't bad we stayed disciplined and Fiorentina didn't draw us outand we managed to peg back a goal. Honestly, I wasn't going insane over our wins and I'm not gonna go insane over the loss, I think we're still a better team than last year and still think we're contenders for a CL spot.

to be blunt, it doesnt matter. Even getting in to the CL will get us a lot of much needed cash.

I guess that we need to spend a bit more so we don't get humiliated by Fiorentina again.

But seriously, I do realise that the UCL money is curical to us next season, but what next? Are we going to make it to UCL every season despite the fact that Napoli, Roma & Juve are all better right now? I don't think so.

Are we going to invest the money wisely, if we do make it to UCL? Now I doubt it.

But in all honesty, this Fiorentina looks much like Stramaccioni's Inter and their score today is very much like our 3-1 against Juve. They have a new coach with a new philosophy. It might take other teams a while to figure them out so their luck is going to run out soon just like ours.

Unlike Stramaccioni's Inter, this Viola can defend.

Handanovic: “I assume my responsibilities”

Samir Handanovic was interviewed by Sky and had the following things to say:

“I assume my responsibilities, I didn’t control the ball well, but the referee could’ve chosen not to give the penalty. It was a bad night from all points of views and we need to forget this game and look forward. Just as we did with the wins, we need to do with the losses. Three man defense? One moment was worse than the other, it was a game that started very bad for us and then I don’t discuss the tactical decisions.”

and he can think for himself, unlike certain other people.

Yeah and it was unbelievable that Kondo was substituted and not Guarin!

not at all. Game was lost, we cant afford to have him sent off, save him for next few games.

Doesnt matter, we still have to try to get the money.

i think admitting his mistake is big but he doesn't have balls if he doesn't recover from this. He needs to be more confident with back passes and for the love of god we need to limit such passes to him knowing what we know ever since he came here.

Highlight of the game was that Colombian dipshit dropping his thinly-held ruse and completely discarding any attempt to disguise himself as a real member of the forum by going all spastic and trolling in this thread.

Dreadful performance from virtually player 1-11 and minute 1-92, but everyone who (like me) has refused to get too carried away by the good start should also not be so crushed by this defeat. It's how we react from such a game that will define this new team and indeed how this game is viewed - as the night we got shown up or just a bad day at the office. Shame the next two matches are such tough ones, but there's no time to complain about that. Time to get stuck in.

I'd fix the midfield first.
