Eh, all I've done is ask a simple question. I find it very interesting to see how defensive people are over a question. I just want to know where people here are prepared to draw the line between 'its fine, this season was development' and 'sorry, but this is shit. we've spent more money on you than any previous coach, and its looking no better than Ranieri'.

As far as my opinion, I certainly don't want Stramaccioni sacked now. I backed him in May (albeit with some caveats) and so far, yes, he has disappointed me. But I was a _HUGE_ fan of him at the Primavera level, and I believe that guy is still there. For him to justify having the full season in the job, though, he needs to cut out the rotation, we need to get more stable, and we need to start looking coherent. We dont, in my opinion, look any improved to our worst moments in the last couple of seasons, where we rely on individual brilliance rather than team effort.

For me, he has at most 10 games to turn us around. Properly turn us around, that is.

Okay thats fine and I'm only defensive about this because people are already screaming at him to get sacked when we're currently winning a game. Regardless of how disgusting it may look.

My only problem with how you present the question is that you seem to be asking it in a way where you are hinting that you're on the side of Strama getting sacked, but when asked upright you say no you don't want him sacked yet.

IMO just wait till we actually have a good sample size of games before evaluating him.

I didn't see the goal because I'm at work, but from what I read it seems as if Pereira was in an offside position and the pass hit a defensive player and came to him? I'm going to have to watch the game later.

If that's the case then he did gain an advantage by being in an offside position.

Don't watch the game unless you've done something really bad and want to make up for it.

If Handa continues like this, he'll win the best GK award in Italy, third year in a row.

Jesus...

If some of you morons haven't realised we've appointed 'AS' in the long term because he won't rule now and give us trophies. Then you simply didn't get it. We're not gonna win any title THIS year, we're not even gonna compete for the Scudetto (no one can compete against Juventus and the entire referee section). We're leading, and we got people who say we should fire the coach. Because he's trying to find this team's identitity.

He's not experienced, he doesn't have it all figured out, we KNOW that already. Let him learn from his mistakes and be fucking calm.

I normally agree with you Jimmy, but there needs to be a line. How are we supposed to create chances and win games with that sort of line-up? I think all he has done today is illustrate our weaknesses while hiding our strengths. We have several incredibly talented and creative attacking midfield players, a lot of one dimensional central players, and a stagnate, tired central striker. We also struggle to field two central defenders who are up to standard. so what does strama do? he highlights our lack of CB depth by playing three CBs? And with playing only one AM to feed the out of form striker. And have the wingbacks deliver crosses to said striker who typically isn't good in the air. And have two one dimension CMs and an out-of-form third CM feed the only two attacking players we have on the park barely any attacking ball?

I simply cannot understand what Strama is thinking.

Pereia was on offside position at the moment Naga crossed. It hit Chievo player from whom it passed to Pereira.

If thats the case, then its not offside. But I couldn't see it properly thanks to my dodgy stream :(

Honestly, i just want to know where people stand.

The only people I've really asked that to are the people who say 'this is the start of a new project, its our year 0, we dont judge him based on this year's performance'. What does that mean, of course. Do we keep him if we get relegated (albeit very unlikely!)? How about if we finish 15th?

You see what I mean? There's a line that has to be drawn somewhere. Even for the people who are prepared to place large amounts of faith in him. If you don't judge him on the first two years, and we end up in Serie C, then clearly something has gone wrong.

I think you know what I mean anyway :)

No, I don't want him sacked yet. I'm happy to go on the record about it. I don't think changing a coach again immediately will help. But I do think that the things I would expect to see by now aren't really happening (e.g. the team isn't clicking, the formation keeps changing, I'm not seeing much encouraging development from the midfield), but I will give him more time to turn it around.
