We can afford 3 offensive players.

Most teams actually can afford 4 offensive players, with one of them tracking back to help out.

Usually 7 men defending is enough, as long as there're just more than enough people to cover the number of attacking players in the offensive field. That's why 4-2-3-1 usually requires one of the 3 attacking midfielders to help tracking back, because 6 defenders are just not enough to close down a formation, say 4-4-2, properly.

I love Inter, and that's why I have mixed feelings about this goal. Troll wins will let Strama keep his job, but this is a short-term solution... We have to think more about the future. And actually, the future doesn't look so good if we gonna still play like shit. Like today.

When Strama loses the locker room. When the results start to be so bad it could jeopardize the whole season.

In my opinion if our home form doesnt pick up by November/December, he should be fired. Thats where I personally draw the line. Where do you draw it?

Offside offence

A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is touched or played by a team-mate is only committing an offside offence if, in the opinion of the referee, he becomes actively involved in play by:

Interfering with play
Playing or touching the ball
Interfering with an opponent
Preventing the opponent from playing the ball by obstructing the player's sight or intentionally distracting the opponent
Gaining an advantage by being in an offside position
Playing the ball after the ball has rebounded off the goal, the goalkeeper, or any opponent[3]

Since offside is judged at the time the ball is touched or played by a team-mate, not when the player receives the ball, it is possible for a player to receive the ball significantly past the second-to-last defender, or even the last defender (typically the goalkeeper).

i guess we all know how offsides work:
if the flag was up after the ball was played and/or the ref thinks it's offside - then it's offside
