It's really difficult to find any positives from that first half. Strama is supposed to be a forward thinking and intelligent coach and yet he puts out a team which really really wastes so much of our squad. We're a team which is packed with attacking midfielders yet we play only one of them in support of a striker who really isn't capable of creating his own chances? How are we supposed to win? offside goal...that might work.

Totally hollow lead. I cannot be happy watching us play like that. Strama needs to grow some balls and let the team play some football.

Lousy midfield trio again, but at least one more player to fetch the balls. We can't control the midfield area at all because Cassano is all alone there. Coutinho would provide him at least a bit support. Guarin can't do shit, he's just a runner. Zanetti and Cambi can stay in front of the defence, covering wing back forward runs.

Something has to be done... been like this since preseason. I don't mind giving Strama time but man.. can't he even build a game plan in 6 months?
That's more than enough for any coach. Look at Diego Simeone for example, the moment he joined Atletico Madrid, thier defense became one of the best in the league, and they started looking like a great team again. Wait, we have Pajo who follows them to tell this, I don't watch them very often.

So, I bet he can tell what an impact he had on the team, and he didn't need 6 months for that.

Offside decision is made with respect to when the ball is passed.

If you are offside WHEN THE BALL IS PASSED, you are offside. It doesn't matter if you go back onside and then interfere with play, the decision is entirely based on the moment the ball is PASSED.
