Or more likely we won't use our right to buy Silvestre at the end of the season and then we'll get another CB if Juan keeps his good form.

Juan was great against Torino! He got dragged out of position a few times but his tackling was superb, he barely put in a foot wrong all game.

I hope he stays with us for many years and continues to develop and stay injury free!

If we keep the Juan-Rano CB partnership and it works then we should def pass on Silvestre who will cost us an extra $8 million euro. I don't see why we should buy another CB. They aren't cheap and we have 2 early 20s CBs that will start for us for a really long time. Just promote from the youth sector and get rid of Samuel and Chivu.

I don't see why Silvestre has been written off here on the basis of about 2-3 games yet Juan is now a guaranteed starter for playing well vs a poor Torino that barely attacked yet he still managed to dive in recklessly and get booked.
