Obviously our game vs Genoa does not reflect our current form, but the form from middle November or whenever...^^

Just saying its the first time I've seen it displayed from right to left....seems very odd

It's from right to left because that's the website template configuration (speaking about, this isn't showing only at football...it's also showing at every sport category (handball, volley, hockey etc). The website is soccerway.com (american style). So, if you want to be shown from left to right, then go and create a different web template :troll:

I noticed it too. I was tempted to edit it out, but it's w/e at this point. I was just trying to find an image that works, didn't pay attention to detail initially.

Interesting decision ahead for CR. Assuming Maicon is back, does he bench the improving Yuto for JZ for that LB spot or will Yuto continue to start and JZ in midfield? I don't particulary like Capitano in midfield, not with two other static midfielders in Motta and Cuchu. It's been proven time and time again that it doesn't work. Unfortunately I have the feeling that's what Ranieri will indeed go with and Cou/Alvarez behind the forwards (hopefully not PaziIto)

I just used google to find a graphic. I never heard of the website until today. It did amaze me they put the time in my timezone. Usually these American websites always use Eastern Time Zone no matter what.

I will say, the one "American" thing that feels weird to me is typing a record in a W-D-L format. I did type the records in the last 5 games on the first post. I'm used to the W-L-D format since hockey functions like that.

Ah the JZ dilemma. It was pretty clear from todays game that having Maicon at RB is essential for our success. I assume JZ will slot in at RM, therefore as he won't bench the inform Yuto, Cambiasso or Motta.

Given Siena will almost certainly play with 9 men behind the ball, Pazzini-Milito combo will be useless. You know, moreso. Wouldn't mind seeing Zarate start if Forlan isn't ready, and Coutinho return to his role at LW.

In all honestly, however, that line up looks much better with Faraoni or Alvarez there instead of JZ. It makes me sad to write that.

It does feel good climbing up the table.
And with Forlan returning I'm totally optimistic. What he's shown in 10 minutes during the Genoa game was impressive, hopefully he'll repeat that sort of performance and we'll most likely have another 3 sweet points to be happy about. Or, of course, CR chooses Milito/Pazzo; they sure can score but the probability of that happening is just a bit low nowadays...

For Cesena we should get 3 points but they are not to be underestimate. Mutu is really quality and they just beat Palermo away so i hope our team will prepear good for this game, specially when we are in need of points desperately.

Meh. I just hope to see Ricky and Forlan starting. they were our best players yesterday (Forlan in what like, 10 mins? did more postive things than Pazzo 'n Milito together)

As far as I'm concerned having a raft of talent in the midfield is a good thing. Cambiasso, Motta, Poli, Alvarez and Coutinho and Sneijder isn't even back as yet, we haven't had a midfield this stacked in a long while. The only odd man out is the Captain, who to me doesn't belong in midfield and neither does Faraoni. They are both defenders, but we'll see what happens.

I agree, but I can't see him benching Yuto after a couple of his best performances...

I hate to harp on this thread even more but I just can't understand Cesena's form here... their loss at Delle Alpi should be 2-0 Juventus (away)

Fixed. That's what happens when you're a college student who sometimes is doing too much in this time of finals and multi tasking not paying attention to detail with typos.

Either JZ or Nagatomo should for the better of the team, be benched against Cesena. And atm, I wouldn't mind if it would be JZ. We didn't have him against Fiorentina and did fine.

Although, if he plays, as a right midfielder, it is not the end of the world. That should fit him a tad bit better than the central midfield position of 4-3-1-2.

I'd prefer to see:

Maicon - Lucio - Walter Samuel - Javier Zanetti
Thiago Motta - Esteban Cambiasso
Riccardo Alvarez - Diego Forlan - Coutinho
Either of the poor strikers​

I wouldn't book Forlan as starter yet. He should start but the coaching staff needs wait and observe if he's fit enough to start after the injury he has been through.
