Motta is linked with Barca only because he was an ex Barca player. In terms of style he is far from a Barcelona type of coach.

Latest rumour is Xavi has changed his mind and he wants to stay now.

It surely looks like a goal in every video, but who knows for sure.

Its fairly absurd that there is no goalline technology in spain.

Even next season when they get an updated VAR, there will still be no hawkeye.

With all the investments poured into upgrading their stadium, it's hard to believe they wouldn't have the camera positioned right above the goal. I can't help but wonder if they conveniently chose not to replay the footage from that angle on purpose.

Also, fuck barca :coffee:

More absurd when you see no proper camera angle showing that incident during the game. I think there were like three cameras showing it and none were clear angles or any cameras on the line.

100%

Remake of Bernabeu costed around BILLION €

Barca still got a goal to be 2-1 ahead so its not like this decision was a decider.

La liga not having goalline technology is a joke, they had it for 10 years now in England. Every other top 5 league has it, even some minor leagues. Even the Championship has it.

Apparently they dont have it, because the Liga refused to pay 3m€ for it lol.

too marginal really

GK glove is on top of the line and you have to take into account that we're still not on a straight line view.

Odds suggest it was a correct decision, but it's a matter of millimeters that could go either way.
In general I think those should count. This scientific approach with millimeters on goal line and offside may be accurate but it sucks the soul of the game. One thing to be corrupt and another to face such situations.

I heard La Liga doesn't have goal-line technology because Tebas didn't want to pay 3 million to get it. 3 million.

I thought it's used everywhere already (in top leagues at least).

So how much does he have to pay for that kiss?

Xavi has agreed to remain as manager of Barcelona until the end of his contract at the end of the 24-25 season. Xavi previously announced he would step down at the end of the current season.

Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste appeared to confirm the agreement when exiting the meeting late Wednesday night.

"We had a meeting with the coach and the president in which Xavi showed us his commitment," he told reporters. "He is a Barça guy, he is the coach who can lead our project and our young players from the club. I am convinced that he will do a great job, I am very happy for him because he is a great 'culé.'
