There are too many sports that people follow all over the world and we only have threads for like 4-5 of them (NBA & European basketball, which kinda died, NFL, Cricket, Curling etc...)
Thread dedicated to less known team sports :)

So here goes.

Volleyball I'm pretty sure there are many people here who have lot of interest in it (Luka? :p) It's the sport with the fastest pace in terms of scoring. Basically the only team sport out there that guarantess that at the end of a serve, a point will be scored for either team...
It's a sport well supported in South America and Caribbean(not sure about this part), eartern Europe(mainly Poland & Russia), Balkan nations and mediterranean nations.
Often discussed as the 3rd most popular sport in the world following football and basketball.

Handball It's a pretty cool sport if you start watching some games you'll like it a lot. Pretty easy to play and understand the rules(except "travelling" which might be confusing to some new followers)
Most of Europe has Handball leagues. If you see the past winners in international competitions, you'd be surprised to see that it's the sport with most varied winners. Swedish used to be great at the sport, so did Romanians. I know that the "big" European nations have quite strong teams and also central & eastern European countries have some good teams.
I think it's mostly a European game.

Water Polo Basically handball in swimming pools. Can't find a better way to introduce it. I know the NCAA has a Water Polo league, not sure if they have a proper league as well in the States.
Again, like volleyball and handball, it's very popular in eastern Europe and Balkan nations. Serbia, Hungary and Russia have great teams always and so does Spain. Italy has the best league from what I've gathered.

These are the ones I really like to watch. Each has domestic league structures like football and basketball and they have lots of continental club competitions as well as lots of international competitions.

High peak is usually the Olympics.

yes, you made one three years ago and I made a basketball thread 4 years ago but both are inactive. Hasan also made a handball thread about a handball tournament

I think people follow some of these sports, there's just no place to discuss them in here... and most people are just here for Inter. I mostly read Inter stuff nowadays and post on everything else..!

I follow the NCAA sports for these three. Probably won't garner any kind of conversation though. Oh well.

I think the fact threads are 3/4 years old and unused says it all..

Good idea to have a thread for "other sports" but I would not name specific "other sports" just let the conversation flow naturally, if there is no interest then let thread die like the rest :)
