Olympics - Inter watch

Inter has two players in the Olympics. They are the Argentine players Burdisso and Kily. They are soon going to play against Serbia & Montenegro. Burdisso is on the bench, while Kily is playing.

Have you noticed that our Primavera-dude Carl Valeri is in Australia´s line-up versus Tunis today.

There´s also a funny comment in the official website of the Athens. Valeri´s ambition for this season: "To maybe break into the first team squad at his club Inter Milan"

I haven´t seen Valeri play at all. He´s supposed to be a two-way midfielder where offence is his weapon.

And he shares room with Martin Bengtsson.

I watched Inter Primavera player Carl Valeri today against Iraq. He played as a defensive midfielder and i got to say that he didn't impress me that much. He's just way too average for a club like Inter and i doubt that he'll develop to be an asset for Inter.

Kily was really superb in the Coppa and right now in the olympics we should definately keep him,the thing is he didnt have a break since last season so i wonder what shape he will be in...

Valeria is average, yes.

However Kily has been playin amazing!

he had two assists in the game against Costa Rica
and he played very well.
Hewill be a great backup for us.

Burdisso has been OK.

God knows why Bielsa called up Burdisso in the first place. I thought he would for sure be a starter for Argentina, but he has hardly played. At at home, we have only had two central defenders avaliable for two games.

It´s no secret that Bielsa don´t like Inter and is calling everyone he can to play for Argentina. Wouldn´t it have been for Zanetti turning it down, he would have been there as well.

Not even when Heinze got injured in one of these games, he subbed in Burdisso.

About the Olympics, I think it's a shame that Iraq great performances have been somehow spoiled by the assassination of the Italian journalist in Iraq.

The game between Italy and Iraq for the bronze must have been very difficult to play for everyone.
