FROM SWEDEN WITH NERAZZURRI LOVE
Saturday, 13 March 2004 15:30:24
APPIANO GENTILE - A five-strong delegation of Inter Club 'Nerazzurri Svedesi', named after Lennart 'Nacka' Skoglund, visited Angelo Moratti Sports Centre on Saturday.

The group of Swedish Inter fans, who will be at the Giuseppe Meazza for tomorrow's match at home to Chievo, were greeted at the club's training base by president Giacinto Facchetti, captain Javier Zanetti and, for language reasons, by Danish defender Thomas Helveg .

"Send my thanks to those [fifty-eight members] who came to Italy by coach and who will be at the stadium tomorrow, and to all the members of the club," said president Facchetti. "If Inter, like we're hoping, get into the Uefa Cup final in Gothenburg, we'll meet again at your headquarters for a big Nerazzurri party. It's an appointment I hope with all my heart will be respected."

Jimmy is there and will be watching the game tomorrow at Meazza.

There are quite many Inter supporters in Sweden . Don't know who many of them are emigrants from Italy but surpringly large number of supporters anyway.

I'm absolutely sure that this is Jimmy's group. He mentioned that Helveg will be their transalator. Kinda weird that Jimmy wasn't in the picture but I'm glad for him to get this opportunity. :)

There are 58 swedish interisti in Milano and only 5 are in the picture. So Jimmy is there. Way to go Jimbo.

No, I ain´t on that picture, because only five was selected (4 of them were selected for being the main responsible persons for this trip, and the fifth was drawn and I wasn´t it). All very fair I must add, since it goes without saying that those responsible for the trip should have the biggest priveliges too.

And no, no advertisement from me. ;)
