Khalilou Fadiga may finally get the chance to play for Inter after undergoing heart surgery in America.

Reports suggest that the Senegal ace has had the procedure in a bid to continue his football career.

The midfielder was signed from Auxerre last summer but he hasn’t yet played for Inter after he failed a medical.

It is alleged that Fadiga will now have further tests carried out in May by the Italian outfit in a bid to assess his condition.

If the Nerazzurri are satisfied that he is healthy enough to play then he could be included in their squad for the 2004/05 season.
