Jake said:Hi guys, I still need help with chinese letters. Could someone translate "Forza Inter" or "Internazionale" to chinese letters. I'm planning to get a tattoo...
Jake said:Wow! That was fast, thanks mate. How about writing it this way in chinese letters (not translating the actual meaning of the words):
For
Za
In
Ter
Or which way would be better?
Jake said:Ok, thanks for the crash course in chinese. I guess Inter Milano (with "o" in the end, is impossible too) You know I just hate "Milan".
But it won't make any sense if you translate For Za In Ter into Chinese. However, if that's what Jake wants, then i'll translate for him.Handoyo said:InterMilan jia you???
But Tim, Jake wants the words that is pronounced "For" "Za" "In" "Ter" "Mi" "Lan", not the transalations, I think.
Handyo
Well Jake, why are you getting it in Chinese instead of in Italian? Do the characters look cool?Jake said:Ok then, I'll clarify things. I admit that the real reason to get the tattoo is to get my arm amputated later on...
It's true that first I thought about how it sounds (like Han said or like that Katanaka-Japanese-English theory...), but like Tim said it doesn't make sense. I then settle for a four letter (symbol/tone) tattoo which was what Pravesh's suggested in the first place.
Btw Tommi, I've checked that it really is "Inter Milan", not that I ever doubted Pravesh's instructions, but I guess double-check is recommendable with tattoos.
Thanks for all your help mates, I'm still open for ideas until I get it done.

Anyway, if you want other translations (into Japanese) for example, just ask me.
Anyway, good luck with the tattoos. I might consider getting one myself.
Ciao,
Tim

Some of you "translate" or something those words Jake wants, Jake get his tattoo and afterwards someone says those words are "translated" wrongly and it actually means Forza Milan.
