Hello,

It is with great enthusiasm I read that Andrea De Falco was now an Inter Player. The 18 year old is a stunning player who can add much depth in the years to come.

With many of our players over 30, we need to look to the future. Martins, Adriano, Stankovic - these will be the leaders of the team in the coming years.

Yet, I as an Inter fan rejoice when players declare their love for the team. No matter which team (First or Primavera).

That is why I am speaking about this topic. Andrea refuses to join the Primavera in his first year of his 5 year contract. Pity. But I do realize his intentions. He wants first team football.

This is a tricky situation. This is what I suggest. Seeing as we have him for five years. He will only be with the First Squad (if he makes it) when he is in his 20's.

Therefore, life is about compromise.

I suggest that Andrea stay with the Primavera this year and then be placed on loan to Palermo next year. This way, he understands the culture of Inter, and will get first team football thusly developing his technique.

This is what I propose. However, I want him to respect the team and have black and blue blood flowing through his veins.

I am excited to see what he can do.

Forza Inter!

This signing is official? When i read the rumour about him, he sounds like a very, VERY promosing player. At the age of 18, he is mature enough to play first team football, if he is good enough. What kind of midfielder is he?

De Falco to Palermo

As of this morning, the signing had to be completed - but it was close.

However, as I just finished reading a story on this, it seems De Falco is not content with Inter and wants to sign with Palermo.

I highly doubt Inter will let him get away. We will probably own half of him and call him up when he is ready. Yet, I do think it would be better for him to sign with us and head to the Primavera.

This De Falco kid forgets he is only 18. Easy Tiger! Earn your stripes!

Therefore, this story is to be continued...

La Fiorentina soffia De Falco all'Inter
20 08 2004

It means Fiorentina has beaten Inter to the signature of Andrea De Falco. He has signed a 5 year contract with Fiorentina, but will most likely be loaned out to a club in Serie B for more experience.

Darn! Just when it looked like he was Inter bound.

Ciao,
Tim

That sucks. Just watch De Falco become a superstar and be added to the list of young talents that got away

Well, with the current number of central midfielders, it will be hard for him to break through the first team anyway. :)

And, if he indeed sign in the future, we'll just snatch him from Fiorentina. :p
