    Torneo di Viareggio

It ended 2-0. Let's hope some of these guys can make it in Serie A. The 2008 team had Obi, Balotelli, Donati, Santon (or was he still only playing for the Allievi Nazionali?) and Destro who are all doing atleast semi-decently so far.

    Italian Serie A 2010/2011

Pepe scores a strange offside goal.

    Mattia Destro

It was a simple finish. He received a lobbed pass over the defence from someone - might've been Palacio.

    Mattia Destro

    It was definitely Destro.

    2009/2010 Midfielders rumours topic

I'm pretty certain we're doing exactly what we did with Maxwell and Julio Cesar. We're simply 'giving' his registration rights to Siena (or whoever) until next summer, and then we'll take him back. That way we won't use our non-eu signing, because we're technically signing him from another...

    Inter - PSV Eindhoven (2 Oct 07)

Possibly the worst refereeing perfomance ever in the CL? :yuck: I had heard bad things about this guy before, but wow.. he was REALLY awful. Looked like he enjoyed giving out cards.

    Inter - Udinese (26 Aug 07)

Yeah, it was just a reflex, but what about the run out of his box? That was some god awful timing.

    Inter - Udinese (26 Aug 07)

    LOL Cesar. Amateur stuff.

    Inter - Udinese (26 Aug 07)

What? Maxwell has been great IMO. and I can't remember a single of their chances being caused by Maxwell. I remember Qualiarella getting past Dacourt, Samuel getting owned by Asamoah on a couple of occasions and Asamoah outjumping Cordoba.

    Inter - Udinese (26 Aug 07)

What a miss by Cruz. Great build-up play by Ibra and Deki, though.

Wow, was that Samuel? Didn't know he was THAT slow.

    Incredible pass by Ibra.

    Italian Serie A 2007/2008

What about Tiago, Andrade, Cassano, Juan, Cicinho, Pato, Giuly, Emerson, Jankovic, Miccoli, Costinha, Tavano, Grygera, Lavezzi, Salihamadzic etc arriving? not to forget the players player in B last season. Overall, I think Serie A has strenghtened itself despite the loss of some players.

    Mario Balotelli

Anyone know if this is true? Nice feat to get called up for intenational football at such a tender age. Thought he had his mind set on Italy, though.

Jankovic is not available for selection yet. is it possible to change your players later before the season starts?

    Aston Villa - Inter (4 Aug 07)

Good thing we don't play a 3 man defence then.

    Walter "Il Muro" Samuel

Please, instead of just insisting on it not happening, can you give a reason for it? Burdisso and Samuel are almost exactly the same kind of defender, so if Burdisso-Matrix works why not Samuel-Matrix? Because they are both left-footed? so is the case with a Matrix-Chivu or Matrix-Cordoba...

    European Transfers & Rumours Topic

Manchester City are doing more good than bad to Serie A by overpaying for these mediocre players. I guess Sven has made it his personal mission to try and help the financial state of Serie A. An attack of Bojinov-Bianchi for a cost of 14-15? mil pounds is truely pathetic business. and the...

    Walter "Il Muro" Samuel

How is a Matrix-Burdisso partnership possible, while a Matrix-Samuel isn't? Burdisso and Samuel are pretty similar in my opinion. Hell, Burdisso was hailed as the new Samuel back in the day.

    European Transfers & Rumours Topic

No, it doesn't mean that Manchester get Tevez for 2 mil. Kia Joorabchian, the owner of Tevez' transfer rights, pays West Ham 2mil to release Tevez. Manchester United and Joorabchian then become free to do a deal without heaving to involve West Ham anymore. Manchester will probably loan him...
