The only reason why we finished 1pt away from the top last season is due to the team was still under the influence of when Conte was here.
Since then it's evident our fitness is no where near, neither is our discipline.
It does not help that our senior management+ plus tight ass Chinese owners decided to bring noting in during pre season.
Hopefully after WC the team can wake the fuck up.

This match was such a nice summation of inzaghi football. I can only think of a couple of games where we were completely dominated, looked flat and lost, but there were so many games where it seemed we are on top of things and then just concede from nowhere, and it's all over.
And this game proved we didn't turn the page for the better, we just got marginally better in comparison to the preseason and start of the season, which is obviously nowhere near good enough for anything serious this year.
My only satisfaction in all of this, and part of the reason why I gave more fucks about some of our banter era seasons than this one, is that these current owners and their ownership policy of relying on a shoestring budget, don't deserve a team who in those conditions fight for trophies and scuddetto. I want them to fail and fail badly.
