I've come to dislike it, actually. It really looks horribly.. red.

The point of posting the above shirts is simply to illustrate how I feel about this aversion towards this shirt of ours.. did those shirts represent Inter in any way? Did those shirts change ANYTHING in the relationships between the clubs? Did those away-shirts serve any other purpose than being different from the home-kit?

Away kits aren't about tradition. We aren't called nero azzurro bianco.. away kits can, for all I care, be as commercial as our owners / designers want them to be - as long as they don't mess around with nerazzurri..

I hate RuBentus and RuBentini more than anything in this world, but I wasn't offended when they wore blue.. I despise Bbilanistas, but that does not influence my relationship with Inter or this away kit.

By the way - Madrid had a red third shirt last season.. and guess what Barcelona are called?

It's a sad day when a guy stream a game at his mom's place and the mom walk in

Me: "Can you guess what color Inter is wearing now?
Sis (who gives a shit): "What, pink, haha?"
Me: "No, red"
Sis: "What?! Are they idiots?"

Have they sold long sleeve versions in recent years? I don't remember being able to purchase them for some time.

People just seem to wear the under-armour type clothing underneath with matching colors.

Oh come on Jimmy, there have been many seasons where Inter have worn jerseys that are nothing like the traditional black/blue home shirt or white away shirt.

I am sure your mother would not have identified them when we had yellow, green or even the grey UEFA Cup/CL jerseys. Not too mention the away centenary jerseys from a few years ago, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites. You honestly think anyone who didn't know we switched jerseys, knew it was Inter when they saw a big red cross on their shirt? At least these ones have a big Pirelli logo across the front to at least give a clue it is Inter...the centenary one had a microscopic Pirelli logo. Just because people who are not hardcore fans cannot distinguish the team does not mean it is a bad design.

Having said that, I do not like the red jerseys, but there is no reason to be as dramatic as everyone is in here.

Forget the fuckin red for a second, the design is just as bad as the choice in colour. The placement of the stripes is just so clumsy.

I probably bore you people with the same 'designer sensibilities' over and over, but as far as I'm concerned, there is a distinction between simple yet classy, minimalist and elegant, and simple, safe, lacking in innovation and boring.
