If Inter cut its wage bill (by getting rid of Stankovic, Chivu, Cordoba, Forlan, Zarate, Lucio, potentially Maicon and even Sneijder) its natural to hope that some of those savings could be spent on transfers. We are unlikely to receive much of a transfer fee for any of those players, but atleast getting their ridiculous wages off the books helps the club immensely.
Every player on Earth (under 25/26) who is not wanted by RM or Barca, whose contract expires in the next 14 months, thats who should be on our radar.
First things first, though, means we have to clear out the deadwood before we can bring in anyone. Even if we only clear out the deadwood to save on wages and give space and opportunity to the youngsters is fine by me, at this point.

10 years of FIFI think Armero works best for a team that is up and down. His touch is actually a bit awkward. Reminds me a lot of Suazo tbh, only that he's out wide rather than a striker. Wing-back is his ideal position, I doubt we go for 3-4-1-2 or something.
Tho he could have a similar role to what Pandev had in Mou team. Would allow good tactical flexibility from a AML position because he can help a lot in defence and still get back up in time.

10 years of FIFI'm not so sure even that Lavezzi would want to come. If Napoli gets to CL I'm quite sure he'll sign a new contract. If they don't then it is 50-50 that he'd want to come when we offer this 31 million release clause.

If player (Lavezzi in this case) sees that there is future in our team, there is plan, and we strengthen our squad, he will come. Even if Napoli plays in CL. No one would want to come in this old Inter, but many would want to come in Inter that has potential, quality, and shows we are moving in proper direction.
And i doubt we would need to pay togose 31 mils, i bet in the summer he could be brought for 20-25. We can even use Pandev. Besides, Lavezzi already said there is possibility he would leave Napoli, so...

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFHe's already on a team that has potential, quality and has been moving in the right direction for the past 5 years. Along with possibly the greatest home atmosphere in Serie A. Maybe he just wants a change of scenery and Napoli want to cash in, but if he is made available then teams like City/PSG/etc will be in for him as well. I'm not saying there's no chance we can sign him, but I think some people are overrating how realistic a signing he would be.

De Laurentiis has stated it clearly and many times that he has a release clause of 31 million euro. If clubs want him, they pay it. In current market price rate, it is a decent enough price.
So it depends quite purely on whether Lavezzi wants to leave or not.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFWe're clearly not paying 31mil for him, or anyone else for that matter. So for us to buy him, he would need to be made available. DeLa would have to be willing to accept some sort of package involving Pandev and probably some youngsters as well. If some other team is going to offer the 31mil, then we have no shot anyway.

10 years of FIFWe are definitely not paying 31m€ for Lavezzi. Unless Napoli is rating Pandev over 10m€ and we can put him in the deal, I don't see Lavezz coming to Inter. Way too much money involved.
