HT. Future doesnt seem so bright afterall. Udinese has been clearly the better side.

Midfield is obviously our biggest problem when it comes to defending, not defense line per se. With that midfield games should be tight, but our 4-man midfield is pushing too much forward. There doesn't seem to be a midfield anchor at all.

Half time, we did nothing apart from the goal, and a couple of Stankovic's individual attempts on goal.

Honestly, take pandev off and throw in obi, who's got pace and stamina and will keep running for the remaining 45min

This is a real worry. Udinese are faster and fitter than us and so their midfield is able support both the attack and defence with ease. Our players take ages just to get up and down the field. The numerical advantage in the middle will need to be addressed, I agree with the suggestion that Mariga should come on.

Pandev has been terrible, but do we think Biabiany could do better? Its such a shame Cou wasn't ready. I'd love to see him and Deki behind Eto'o in this sort of game.

Sanchez has looked very good. Not 25m good, but could definitely be a useful addition.

For the way Leo wants to play, we need reinforcments. Simple as that.

Javier can't play in the midfield, we need someone like Motta there besides him and Cuchu, and also we need more offensive (better) options.

It is realy that simple.

I remember people blaming constantly Benitez, that we ain't "compact" and secure at the back like we were with Jose, and that was true to some degree, but I don't hear anything close to this now. Seems, that when we win (Leo), it's not a problem, we loose, it is a problem. I'd like more consistency with others, not just looking at the results.

As for the game, Udinese playing very good. We knew it will be tough game, but we can still win it. Leo will probably switch to 4-2-3-1 somewhere during second half. The problem with Udinese is that they are great on counters, have very fast players up the field. Still remember this winner ball Di Natale had at San Siro last year at the end of the game.

Anyways, another game, ANOTHER proof, we need reinforcments. Our recent wins should not fool us.

Just imagine what would happen, if Eto'o gets injured. Pandev/Diego up front, with their current form lol (Diego is improving, but still off his best).

Overplayed by Udinese. They had 11 Mottas on the pitch, we had one.
When you see Di Natale and Sanchez pressing so high and Maicon running forward a lot you know we have a problem. The first goal Zapata was clear cause Maicon, his marker, ran up as soon as Palmdev got and lost the ball.

Yeah. What is funny is that we've used that four-man midfield for almost 3,5 years now (last season's second part was exception) in our Scudetto success. And we've been defensively rock solid. But now our midfield is leaking like a women having periods.

Is Leo ever gonna consider doing something with that midfield?! It's just like every counter attack "Thanks to Pandev" is dangerous especially with a shaky defense like ours! It's just fkn sense! It happened against Cesena in a home game why would he never learn from his mistakes?!

I can't understand Branca's decision to continue like this?! Wtf are we gonna do with the limited attacking options! Why might loose everything just cuz that bitch decided to be cheap! It's just frustrating!

I haven't read back in the thread so I don't know what was said for the goals but they are BOTH on Stankovic and Castelacci.

Stankovic runs off to attack in the first goal leaving the right side empty even though we didn't have the ball. In the second one he screws up on the rebound AGAIN and concedes the foul.

Castelacci does a poor job in the first goal and sets up the wall completely wrong in the second.
