Let's look at the bright side if we get Inler we can play 4-3-1-2 more comfortably and if we play 4-2-3-1 Zanetti won't have to play in midfield and Chivu will get out of left back so let's be positive here! On the other hand the Udinese president said it would be difficult let's hope for the best.
So we should just break one of the things that helped us make it finaly in Europe, which was 4-2-3-1 ?

Finaly we find our best fit, and we have to go back to the formation that currently no other top team plays (2 strikers) just because we fuck up our mercato. GREAT job.

I'm not delighted with it but what else can we do? Start with Biabiany in a Champions League knockout, we should try to rotate at times, maybe it will help us win Serie A at least. =/

Don't just do something for the sake of doing something, that will end in another RQ, Mancini, Muntari fiasco. IF we are going for top players ie Fabregas etc these things are not easy. I would much rather try and make a significant deal and fail than take second best on the likes of Inler,Poli, Rossi etc. Another thing to remember is that just because Bilan went and got Robinho and Ibra it don't count for shit in terms of the team and work ethic we have built up over these years. We have a group of winners who thrive in adversity. Even if we have to wait for help until January there is no crisis going on her? The team doesnt become shit just because of the change of manager. I was actually quite surprised with Mariga last night thought he was really good and Milito is going through a couple of his 'donkey' games. The real Diego will show up when we need him don't worry.

At TMW, Pierpaolo Marino said the market for the entire series and put the entire voting at the 17th place with 5.5
Marino feels the same as me during the whole mercato. When things made sense (up to some point, with still time and Mascherano and Kuyt in the picture) he was praising us all summer, just like I was happy with it.

Now when he sees we kinda got caught he is bashing us.

Indeed, you are very right.

I wasn't bashing you, I was more bashing the whole idea.

The fact that we will HAVE to go back (considering our options now) to our previous formation - which is very, very likely at this point btw - from the one that brought us success, because there is just no other way, proves that we really fucked up this year.

God Damn it !

Small rumor that Suazo might have a possibility to go to Stuttgart if they sell Ciprian Marica.

Moratti: "The team is the same but we will do something"
I'm worried about this "something" word.

If something means Inler, Poli, I'd rather do nothing, and just save the cash for god damn quality transfer next year.

Cafe is completely right here, the directors and MM thought this team would be good enough as is to compete while balancing the books for this fifa fair play bs.

Milan did things noone expected and now were in complete panic mode to do something it looks like the only action today is Branca selling players not bringing anyone in.

If we do get someone were not talking big names unless a miracle happens. Some of the gents on interfans and portacuore are speculating Fabregas changes his mind and comes its a slim hope saying we have the a potential verbal agreement with Arsenal but Fabregas only has Barcelona on his mind.

Stupid imo he will be the Xavi replacement he is perfect for that role but Xavi has a good 2-3 years in the tank where does he play for Barca next year.

Hold on to hope guys little more the 4 1/2 hours to go there's no way MM gets us noone after the deals Milan pulled out of their asses ultimate slap in the face. Milan now has one of the best attacks in Europe, their problem is an old midfield and an unexperienced defense.

Cmon guys, let's think this through for a second. Moratti is probably trying to push Inter into the green economically. Soon (2012?) clubs will only be allowed to spend what they make. He's trying to make Inter self-sustainable, and with the money we won last season + Balotelli, we're one step closer to that. This of course requires for sacrifices, and would you not rather have these sacrifices made this season when we still have a very good squad? Or post-pone it to a season when we REALLY need new signings?

These guys are not stupid, nor are they amateurs, yet most of you treat them likewise without taking into consideration all the facts. You all want big names, superstars, whatever. Well those, don't necessarily win you shit (look @ RM last year). Even if we don't sign anyone this mercato, I would look back at it as positive in the long run. (except if we get trashed by BBilan, JuBentus and thrown out of CL groups).

but then again............

This team is also capable of announcing the signing of Leo Messi for 150 millions, thus rendering all of the above to nothing :D We'll just have to wait and see.

When we sold SMB I told that we didn't had the squad neccesary to replace him, but well, you bashed me as a fanboy and told me we had super Jonathan Biabiny and the wonderkid-notsettled- Phillipe Coutinho

Now I see that we are all begging for signigns, the most probable thing is that we will get Sculli.

Cavani was also a good option, but people didn't wanted him here, now I guess you would be all accepting him with open arms.

Exactly. And the whole time to many are believing this 'financial fair play' excuse. Which is nothing but complete BS to keep the earnings instead of reinvesting in the club.

And this is exactly what I don't want. Buying because Milan signed someone.

I will give an example.

A month ago nobody would think of Inler. If he was in our plans we would already go for him months ago, not now. The only reason we would spend money, was to try and restore at least to some extend the gap we had over Milan. But the point is, on normal circumstances we would buy him.

So NOW we want to sacrifice. I'd rather wish we sacrificed earlier, when there was still an option to buy someone of quality, not now when we will do sacrifice to bring a squad player. What the fuck !

Inler's agent is talking to Udinese.

Trance you have a point, and it looks only viable explanation to this situation. "This situation" I mean for example offers for Kuyt and Mascherano, which apparently were close to ridiculous. We weren't after any big name really for this summer and made money by the sale of our young star. Okay, we may need the money badly DESPITE the treble year and shit. But surely Moratti and the management didn't guessed Milan's magic trick at the last weekend of the mercato and I think we would have done SOMETHING more if Milan had reinforced themselves earlier. I am just sure of this, Moratti doesn't want to be second in that game.
