If you don't see how such a racist remark is NOT an insult, then I think you're a hopeless case. As soon as you involve nationality, etnicity, gender and whatever else you wanna add, in a way to insult another member, you're crossing the line on this forum.

Unless its was Nim who did get banned, and what you said about Swedes IS racist, waht you just said doesnt change that.

We'll have some more general announcements before the season starts as well. And generally, every issue or post is discussed in the mod forum so that the correct decision is made.
The comments about Swedes falls under racism, which you know we have a zero-tolerance policy for. The mods will decide how to handle it. But really Nyall I'm saying this as a friend, why did you even go there coming straight from a 1 day ban? If Adam offended you why didn't you let us know or just add him to your ignore list?
For now, the best thing to do (talking to all here) is stop bickering or retaliation, stay on-topic, focus on the discussion and not the person who's discussing the point.

I really don't care for personal insults, which is why I don't report them. It's stupid to get hurt over the internet especially by someone you've never met. I was just saying that it's kinda hard that this gets mentioned to me now especially since all these things have happened.

But you can see how your intention was misunderstood though, and the sentence itself is still racist. At the very least you were insulting Adam, and my point is if you don't care for being insulted by him then it would have been better to ignore him.
Sometimes we get too passionate about our opinions here, and so we get insulted by others' opinions as well. That leads to people taking things personally, and then the discussion derails despite our best intentions. Let's get rid of all that so we have a more pleasant environment for everyone to express their opinions.

Anyways, this thread is about bannings and suspensions. So...How many times do you have to get banned for it to be permanent?
Let's take Nyall for instance: He was banned twice before yes? Now with the xenophobic remark that should be another ban, so is there an unlimited number of bans before it goes permanent, or do you handle it on a case to case basis?

The simplest solution is ignoring these comments. If you don't report the posts, you cannot expect for sure that admins will discover them. We are doing our best, but we need help from you and everyone else to try and keep this forum qualitatively on a decent level.

Nope, because I've already gotten a warning for that entire episode with Vitomins. And the post isn't xenophobic because it's a fact American football and baseball are the two of the most popular sports in America. Well, on second glanze, I am implying he doesn't know anything about football because he's American, so I guess it is bit xenophobic, but like I said I've already been warned for that.
It's pretty hilarious that you go back weeks to try to find posts of mine, considering the only thing I'd have to do is click "find more posts" and I'm betting about half of yours contain some sort of insult. Luckily for you I don't care enough to do it.
Anyways, I'm done. I trust the mods aren't naive enough to fall for your little victim routine and do the right thing.

Not exactly, since you have quite a record of warnings and bans prior to another offence. The entire point with you being warned and banned was for you to stop behaving in a certain way. It doesn't seem like you've quite gotten the picture.

Most Important MemberIt depends on the context. If the argument between the two is obviously heated and you say "wtf you're a fucking idiot!!!" then it's not OK.
If for example, I make a careless mistake like posting 12 people in my ideal line-up or something and you say "Han you're an idiot
" then it's fine.These things are not black & white. We have to see it case by case.
