One thing I dont like about it is the tricolore on the red of the shirt.

i really like it, itll be a nice change..

MILAN - In a press conference at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday, Nike presented F.C. Internazionale's new away shirt for the 2007/08 season, specially designed for the Italian champions' centenary year.

Nike drew inspiration from the tradition and values that have always distinguished the glorious history of Inter. With a red cross on a white background, and the coat of arms of Milan, the new away shirt recalls the kit worn by the Società Sportiva Ambrosiana, highlighting F.C. Internazionale's belonging to the city.

The placing of the logos is particularly innovative, in that they do not reduce the authenticity of the design. At the centre of the cross is the latest Scudetto won by Massimo Moratti's team. The Nike logo is positioned top right, while the club's new logo, created for the centenary year, is in the centre, immediately below the Pirelli logo.

"Today Nike celebrates with F.C. Internazionale the winning of an extraordinary Scudetto, distinguished by unique records," said Nike Italy general manager Matthew Cook. "We are particularly happy to present the new away shirt of the Italian champions, an homage to the club's glorious history."

The shirts to go on sale are enhanced by the classic Inter Scudetto on the back of the neck. The body of the shirt features the ultra light Nike Sphere Dry technology for maximum ventilation and sweat-wicking. The shorts are black with a red lace up to maintain the retro style of the past season, and present a longer wearability, while the Nike swoosh and Inter's centenary logo are placed on either side. The socks, also black, feature a white and red turn-down top that recalls the dominant colours of the shirt, the name Inter, and the Nike swoosh.

F.C. Internazionale's new home shirt for the 2007/08 season will be presented during the first-team's pre-season training camp in July.

The new away shirt will be on sale at all the main Nike sales points from Monday 28 May.

I will be getting me one of those and the home shirt.

Here in Northern Ireland it is hard to find the inter shirt when it comes out. For this season's home one i waited until CHRISTMAS!!! just to get it! I wouldn't mind having to wait until christmas this year though. Does anybody know when they will be released so i can start looking for the white/red LONG SLEEVED shirt?

I love it! Can you imagine the home jersey? It's gonna be insane!!!

I've never bought the away jersey, although I buy the home one every year. This year I am definitely getting both!

I guess now the home jersey will be similar in design with regards to the sponsor etc.

Just imagine this shirt in your minds, remove the white and red and put the Inter stripes, black and blue, the old-school style, I bet the Nike & Pirelli logos will be in gold as well as the numbers and names on the back.

Something along those lines, maybe they will not put the gold.

I hated them because I thought they were going to be our main jerseys for next season. But for away suit they are very nice. Will definitely buy one, if I can afford

The centenary away jersey already on sale on Inter.it. Check it out. Its 70Euros. But without he italian flag on chest.

and regarding shirt sponsor...Pirelli is for Inter more than just a sponsor.
Pirelli and Inter are somehow together...I can't think of Pirelli without thinking of Inter. The history of both is bound...so, it's not just about having just a sponsor.

I'm gonna buy the centenary shirt with no name on it and the home jersey with either Matrix or Il Capitano.

I think that's the plan. By doing that, it would make the shirt really special.
