I don't think Lopez is as talented as Sensi is. The latter has great footballing intelligence, nobody could convince me otherwise. Like @Raul Duke mentioned it above, Sensi was exceptional for a certain period. Probably the most creative midfielder during that time before he started to pick up injuries.

Though I'll admit that physicality is a huge factor in modern football but at the same time you can still remain competitive even if you lack strength. For example, Barella's lack of strength is pretty damn frustrating to me, but he's still got many other attributes that will keep him competitive.

And lol @ your last point mate. Some players may look like skinny fucks but they can have so much strength. Remember, mass and strength aren't the same.
The most creative midfielder with a grand total of 2 assists in the 4 years he’s played here.

Amazing!!!

Clubs must surely be lining up to buy the most creative midfielder of UCL finalists and current Serie A favourites then right?! You’re totally not just making shit up!!

It’s wild how you’re insistent that Tikus isn’t a bargain even though that when it’s all said and done Sensi would have cost the team more than Tikus will after 5 years.

At over 40 million euros in transfer fee and wages can you honestly say that Sensi has been worth it?

What output? He is too weak, a midget, and can't defend. No muscles whatsoever.

That's unacceptable in modern football. Name me a successful midfielder with similar built? You see, literally 0.
Thank God you are just a forum guy and not a coach. For you, Modrić would never succeed as footballer. Once upon a time in Hajduk Split there were also some smart ones that didnt want a young Modrić cause he was midget, week and couldnt defend. Imagine that. Well Modrić is similiar built, he is midget and he is not strong. Your claim above is absolute nonsense. This is worse than your claim few years ago that Biraghi is better player than Perisic. But its not the worst. That goes to @Nyall who claims that Sensi lacks talent?! Only reason Sensi didnt succeed here his constant problem with injuries. People that watched him healthy playing for us saw his potential and how good he can be. He showed he can defend too! Not just for us but playing for Italy too. Its injuries that fucked up his career, nothing else. Stop claiming his build or his talent are the reason he didnt make it. Complete nonsense.

Sensi is good footballer but his body is not suited for top level clubs. He could be decent player for some small teams, even a star there, if he stays fit.
It's ridiculous someone to claim that he has no skills. Before he gets injured in Conte's first season, even Barca was interested in him.
It's same to say that Raphina, Thiago Alcantara or Giuseppe Rossi don't have football skills, for example.

Like many I have a soft spot for Sensi. But what happened to him at Monza? If I understand correctly, Monza is a nursing home for both old and young players. He should have showed some quality? His seasons with Monza was not really plagued with injuries.

Other than injuries, Sensi's problem is also that he is a lazy fuck.

It could also be he's not top level athlete when it comes to maintaining your body.

So this possible Sensi money is not linked to this transfer window.

What could have been…

This turd has managed to master the art of being a pre season specialist and having no end product all in one.

Perfect for a second division team.

People seems to be angry about Sensi, because in the end he never returned to what he was at the start of his Inter story AND because some of us are critiquing the players that play, but not players that aren't playing (Sensi, Cuadrado).

I understand the frustration about Sensi, I don't understand the anger, where you convince yourself that Sensi was never actually any good, just to prove a point. Also criticizing players that are on the pitch is totally normal. Doesn't mean we don't like these players, be it Lautaro, Thuram, Mkhitaryan or Barella. I like them all. We've all been hoping for Lautaro to have a year like he had in 2023 and we've been on his ass that he wasn't clutch enough etc etc...

Injuries in football are a constant and some players are more likely to get injured than others. I'm sad we couldn't have a full Sensi or a full Rafinha season, but I understand that players like that tend to get injured more anyways. I'm sure it's not the last time we have a player like that in our squad :)

So what I'm trying to say is...do not take this forum too seriously and focus on supporting the players first. We live in surprisingly good times for Inter. Even if we don't win a trophy this season, I'm very surprised how well we are doing. This could actually be one of the best Serie A seasons I've seen from Inter ever, if we keep going like this. I'd rather be excited than angry and frustrated.
