People weren't mad at Hakimi, because they knew somebody would get sold. Also, he wasn't such a loudmouth as Onana and also didn't replace a much loved captain in starting 11. Hakimi won the league with us and Onana didn't win CL.

And so on..

Yes, it's only Handanovic who does that... It's not like the 2nd most common [non] reaction from goalkeepers that concede a goal.

Onana had a great game vs Porto that enabled us to qualify because our team was at the time very shit and couldn't get the ball inside the net. Apart from that, he is vastly overrated by a significant portion of fans because in all honestly most are gullible suckers for people with big words and instagram clips or Youtube Shorts, because that's the amount of effort in time they'll put to check a player. Which is why they dislike Handanovic for no reason even if he's done 99% of things right and ejaculated whenever Onana got the ball which would give anyone who knows a thing or two a heart attack and was being way too liberal with his role  He's no Higuita...

Regarding saves, his saving style was never going to last at Inter as a top level GK apart from a few one-on-ones where he did excellent. Most of his saves where body blocks that depend on his lateral steps. He almost exclusively jumps for high balls because he cannot body block a high shot. The only other occasion is if the low ball is just moving too far away from his body, but as every goalkeeper out there, he won't make an effort to untangle his feet and posture to dive for a ball that's far away from his maximal reach. Camera angle or just plain ignorance (for the most part) makes people assume that the GK just doesn't give a fuck about the shot.

We could have milked more money from Manchester United and I don't think many expected such a terrible start from him, but it's both him and the defense. It cannot be only one of the two.

I'm just happy that we slowly integrated him into the team because if you recall our first 2-3 months CL games we suffered a lot because he couldn't communicate and coordinate properly with the defense. And our defense was shambolic in the league as well, it'd be even worse and could potentially ruin our CL run if that was to happen.
Just joking ok Handa part, many people here criticised him like that. His shot stopping is ok, not outstanding. We are better team for his style than MU currently, their defence is one thing but midfield also leads to direct attack as well, no calm moment.

We can get him on loan + 10.mln option next season. I won't mind.

More like paid loan with option for more paid loan, with a chance of getting ghosted after the first loan of course.

Perhaps he just wants to be seen as a nice guy... anyway, united will have more problems and after Maguire and Mctominay, Onana will be the next "problem" they create.

onana is not maguire, mctominay level. He's not of the class to win you games single-handedly a la Buffon or Kahn or Toldo, but he's certainly an inter level keeper. It's impressive that he has accepted responsibility for his own performance and taken ownership of the results/outcomes. He could have thrown the defense under the bus or done a Sancho. It's not about being a nice guy. He wants the burden on his shoulders. We could certainly use some of that here.

But ultimately he needs to put his head down and get on with it.

Reasons why he is worse than Handa just keep on piling up. Onana should just stop playing football altogether.

His positioning by the goal from Zaha was not good again. You can see he is in low confidence, he just can’t handle the pressure he’s in now. Kinda sad for this guy, but I don’t see him turn this around easily.
