In the highly unlikely event that the transfer collapses for medical reasons, would you still keep him for £6M/season?
No. I don't think that he will be the same player mentally.

On the current season I hope to see him starting again really soon, as I have no doubts about his professionalism.
Unfortunately it seems that there are slim chances of happening in an Inter shirt:

SKRINIAR NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY FOR INTER AGAIN AFTER SURGERY
Inter defender Milan Skriniar has undergone back surgery and is not expected to play for the Nerazzurri again, joining PSG as a free agent at the end of the season.

The Slovakia international has been out of action since February with a lumbar vertebra fracture which he had to treat with surgery this past Wednesday.

Multiple reports in Italy, including Sky Sport Italia and Il Corriere dello Sport, claim the 28-year-old won’t play for Inter again.

Skriniar has agreed to join PSG as a free agent at the end of his contract with Inter in June and Wednesday’s surgery probably means he won’t feature for the Nerazzurri again before the end of his deal.

The ex-Sampdoria defender posted an Instagram story from the hospital on Thursday with a message for his current club.

“I want to hug my teammates and thank them for the amazing qualification to the Champions League semis and also reassure everyone on my condition after the injury suffered in the first leg against Porto,” wrote the 28-year-old.

“Yesterday, in agreement with Inter, I underwent surgery to return to action as soon as possible. A brief rehab will follow it.”

Skriniar joined Inter in a €30m deal from Sampdoria in 2017 and has played 246 games with the Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals. He has won one Serie A title, one Coppa Italia and two Supercups during his time at San Siro.

Thanks for everything, good luck.

Hell yea. I don't get emotional about these players and let's not kid ourself he's still one of our better defenders. He'd have to earn his place though but I'd keep him should the deals collapse. But as you said, it's highly unlikely.

For 6m I'm not sure, as he may not be the same player again. But I will keep him for less. I have no beef with the guy whatsoever.

Every single game we play, every game we win out him, is another fuck you to him. We’ve gone further than he ever could have taken us as the leader of our defense.

He knew and planned all of this shit and fucked the club over at every fucking step he took.

He knew he was gonna do this shit after January and didn’t tell the club to just sell him. He knew he wasn’t going to accept our firm lower offer last summer or anytime after but didn’t tell the club whilst his agent negotiated big numbers with PSG.

Fuck him.

It’s crazy how this cunt still has a dedicated defense force here, whilst we have players sweating and fighting for our season getting cussed out each game if they miss play a pass.

If Inzhagi didn’t find a diamond out of Acerbi - Darmian - Bastoni, can you imagine where our season and consequently us as a club would be right now, after this cunt pulled the shit he did post January.

The reason I’m going on this rant and writing this is simple. When the season is done and this cunt finally leaves, you will be presented with an option. Some may call it meaningless but it does have meaning.

Do no vote Skriniar into Le Grande Inter. He does not deserve to be among people who gave a fuck about this club.

Absolutely agree, he tried to fuck us when we needed him the most. Even if he had decided not to renew and leave at the end of the season, he could have kept it on the low with the media, instead his agent went on and talked shit about us and announced Skriniar leaving at a very critical time. They can both fuck off.

Hope so. He deserves to be there after being a warrior for Inter for years.

Wish him a quick recovery. With Gosens' injury we need him now more than ever.

Even if he could get a green light from docs in the first week of May, there's simply not enough time to get in top shape.

I know we need him, this guy can wrap up Haaland with his weak hand and shit on it when in top form, but he is done here.

There would be a hilarious irony if his move to PSG goes ahead whilst at the same time the Hollywood front three main attraction all depart this summer. Too bad, dude lol.

Not much happened.

Skriniar was constantly offered to other clubs for 3 years now.
He was told he'd be given a new contract within weeks.
At the time we tried to sell Bastoni, who also didn't want to leave.
Eventually we turned to try to sell Skriniar once more and told him we'd not negotiate a deal anymore. He talked with PSG, he saw what's out there and still wanted to stay.
We didn't really get serious about a new deal till October/November and it wasn't even better than what we had talked about in June, which was a promise we made him. Which was almost half of what PSG offered.

So eventually he decided to sign with PSG who kept bugging us and him for months.

Skrinar is a gold digger and he was faking his love to Inter. There is nothing wrong about it, as that is like 99% of the players nowadays.
Zhang was an idiot to block the transfer last summer, but there is nothing to do about it. I still don't understand the people, who trying to make him the innocent victim.
