For me that's the craziest thing with this lineup. Even more crazy than starting Handanovic. Mkhi is going for his 14th consecutive start at 34. He needs rest a lot more than Calha.

Out of curiosity i checked if Inzaghi had done anything similar before a CL KO game in the past. And the answer is no.

Last season we were playing against Napoli before the first leg against Liverpool so he couldn't really rotate. And he didn't. But we were playing against Salernitana at home before second leg. He didn't rotate in that match either. Similar case at Lazio. Before their two matches against Bayern they were facing Sampdoria and Crotone. No rotation either.

This is so unlike Inzaghi. Maybe management told him reaching CL quarterfinals is a must so he is focused on that. I don't know. The thing is if we don't win tonight he will be under a lot of pressure.

Yeah, it's a weird decision, probably Correa is still hampered with an injury. Mkhitaryan will be gassed by HT. Then Handa will be blamed for poor distribution and letting in a goal or two. This has all the makings for plenty of smoke breaks and heavy drinking starting ca. 70 min mark.
