Why does it make a difference where would he be if he doesn't play anyway?Sorry to break it to you but that's the only reason he came here, man.

Taking decision when the situations happens instead of being prepared is a gamble. Against Plzen he played 7 minutes against a team that was already down 3-0 and not even fighting, if you didn't see how out of form he looked against Sampdoria I don't know what to say.All it shows is just how biased you are against lukaku period. No we should fucken not prepare our selfes or just buy a 5th striker cause lukaku might get injured...
If in jan we know fucker will be out for another 3 months by all means go out and get another striker but now when there is 0 indication why fucken bother?
Ohh he played bad when he came on and we already were up 3:0 and he pulled something again that night ohh noooo....
Did you see him against pilsen did he seem lazy or unfit there? We all can cherry pick.
Lukaku did not have pintus before and other than at MANU he never really had fitness issues. But sure at inter it can only work with Pintus also pintus is a fucken fitness coach give me a break you really think pintus is the only one who can get our players up to condition?
Our other striker option this summer would have been dybala who has a way worse injury track record than Lukaku but yeah they were idiots for picking injury prone Rom.
Again all this mgm lacks ideas is very easy to say from your chair infront of your PC with the power of hindsight.
Evaluate decisions when they are taken and with the information that are available at that moment.
Pintus has had a fantastic impact on Lukaku and was at the core of his performance at Inter.Lukaku did not have pintus before and other than at MANU he never really had fitness issues. Hindsight? I'm pretty sure right from the start of the negociations I and many others here were doubting him staying fit without Pintus. He played two years under Conte without any serious injury playing 90 minutes per game 2 times a week including the crazy post pandemic schedule.Again all this mgm lacks ideas is very easy to say from your chair infront of your PC with the power of hindsight.

Yes he looked bad against samp but thats also alledgedly where he got re injured....Taking decision when the situations happens instead of being prepared is a gamble. Again thats a bs narrative did he look like this when he joined Manu? Or was it only after he had a falling out with Mou?Pintus has had a fantastic impact on Lukaku and was at the core of his performance at Inter.

One of those was taken under Pintus gess which one.
Also you're talking pre-Man Utd era, how old was he ? 24? The man is near 30, now
Yeah and if you would have argued in summer that dybala is the better choice cause of Injuries you would have rightfully so looked foolish.Hindsight? I'm pretty sure right from the start of the negociations I and many others here were doubting him staying fit without Pintus. The more games he misses, the more we should consider getting a striker, otherwise if we're in March and one of Dzeko or Lautaro gets an injury then we're f*cked.
It’s one of the dumbest things I’ve seen on here but no surprise when you see who started itPeople think this guy dropped his wages by 100k a week or whatever to just rest for the world cup. If that was his aim, he'd have stayed at Chelsea and earned even more money.
When he joined Manchester United he was 23/24, physically he was a different player than 6 years later when he enters the age when it starts to be more difficult to stay fit. Do you t I didn't take two times where he wasn't fit, I compared with the time he had at Inter just for the sake of showing how working with Pintus had an impact on his shape and necessarily his performance.Yes he looked bad against samp but thats also alledgedly where he got re injured....
Also what exactly is there to plan for? Not like we have a huge budget or like there will/would be many options for us in jan
Again thats a bs narrative did he look like this when he joined Manu? Or was it only after he had a falling out with Mou?
Your basically picking the two times he was not fit enough to perform over a what 10 year career and taking them as prove that the dude cannot stay fit?
Common...
And yes he s 30 so what? Staying in form gets harder for every player past 30... does not mean we should stay away from all of them or that they all start to slow down at that age.
Agreed as in we should hold out that decision as long as possible and that we probably have most of the leverage.....Better not do any decisions before the spring.
I can see a scenario where Chelsea demands answers from us earlier, like in winter already, so they can plan ahead. But we have probably most of the leverage here. I can see Lukaku's preference being Inter and Chelsea cannot just sell him to anyone anyway. We should be at ease and just wait how the spring season pans out.
Lukaku's salary is IMO simply way too big. SPECIALLY if he's injured more than last time he was here.
Yeah. Doesn't make sense to pay even that 8m€. What Chelsea are gonna do if we offer less? Keep him and pay his massive salary while being useless for them (since he doesn't want to even play there) ?Agreed as in we should hold out that decision as long as possible and that we probably have most of the leverage.....
I dont care about the salary that much... realistically speaking we re not gonna get another striker we re happy with whos on significantly less....
We should consider the total annual cost more than just the salary as in salary plus amortization or loan fee. Imho this is where lukaku becomes an attractive solution for us even financially. If chelsea is willing to give us a discount or another loan. With the current loan fee at 8mio that translates into a Transfer of 40 to 32mio so if chelsea offer us another 8 mio loan question is can we get a better striker on a lower or same salary that costs us 40 mio or less.
I doubt it.
It also has to be said that the injuries are more worrisome for chelsea then for us.... Yes we re missing a crucial player and it sucks... But atleast he does not have a 60 mio balance sheet value for us. Bottom line it s probably all down to Rom and chelsea if he still only wants us we should be able to get a deal that is favourable for us financially.
Anyway reports are he's likely out at least another 3 weeks.
What happens in 3 weeks? I forgot
