Verratti was instrumental for PSG yet again. It's like watching Brozović if he cared a lot. His passing, his effort in defence, being at the right place everytime.

More or less expected results except Chelsea and Leipzig though I'd argue Dinamo winning wasn't shocking. I guess, Leipzig and Chelsea losing is where the bookies won the bets.

Better choice of games today, imo. Should be closer games than yesterday.

Opens with Ajax-Rangers and Eintracht-Sporting, those should be good to watch and switch from one to another.

The rest:

Napoli-Liverpool
Atletico-Porto
Inter-Bayern (we can hope this is a "close" game at least)
Tottenham-Marseille are imo all good names to play each other.

Brugge-Leverkusen and Barca-Plzen least attractive on paper but you never know.

Ajax never ceases to amaze me. They change their coach and half of their main starters almost every year. Don't have hundreds millions, yet they never stop being successful in the CL.

Ajax-Rangers match is like first league team playing team from third division.

Rangers will be happy with 6-0 result with this Ajax pace of scoring.

Tbh before the Europa League final against Utd they had a poor period when they were struggling to make it past the group. Sometimes they couldn't even reach group stage. But now they have returned to being competitive.

Agree, but they are historically so. They never were big spenders, even when they won the CL trophy. I understand that their philosophy is to grow talents and all that. But why does it become a catastrophe for us when we change a coach or sell 1-2 players, or if we don't spend big.

Not watching the game but apparently Napoli leading 2-0 over Liverpool. Could've been 3 as Osimhen missed a penalty apparently.

Now watch Spalletti take off his best players to defend the lead and suffer a 2-3 comeback loss.

tbf we've been horrendous in Europe, so only losing 1-2 to them over two games, and "Winning" at Anfield, was still impressive

Napoli play quick and imagantive modern football, so nothing like us, easy to see why they're doing better
