AC Milan | 2017/18 - 2018-19

Bonucci: €42M
Andre Silva: €38M
Paqueta: €38M
Caldara: €37M
Piatek: €35M
Conti: €24M
Hakan: €23M
Kalinic: €5M (loan)
Kalinic (again): €22M
Samu: €21M + sold Bacca
Biglia: €20M
Laxalt: €19M
Musacchio: €18M
R. Rodriguez: €15M

= €357 mln

I'm still wondering how Milan balanced their books, as they didn't get profit from above mentioned players, even most of them left for almost free.

Covid made UEFA abandon FFP, so they never had to.

We dont have to balance the book for FFP either, just that Suning is struggling to inject more money to cover our constant operational losses.

Pedulla saying Scamacca to West Ham for 40+7 is in advanced state.

WHY SCAMACCA COULD SNUB PSG FOR WEST HAM

West Ham have jumped to the front of the queue for Gianluca Scamacca and the Italy striker could snub PSG in favour of a move to London.

Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà reported on Tuesday that the Hammers have offered €40m plus add-ons to sign the Sassuolo striker.

PSG are also interested in the Italy international, but their latest offer is €35m, so West Ham are currently leading the race to sign the 23-year-old.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo will wait for the Ligue 1 giants to raise their offer, but talks with West Ham are at an advanced stage, so there is a concrete chance to see Scamacca play in the Premier League next season.

Clearly, the status of the two clubs is very different, but Scamacca could sign with West Ham despite the interest from PSG to get more playing time in the Premier League which remains the leading European league.

Scamacca is tempted to join Leo Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé at PSG, but it could be too early for him to move to Paris, while he’d have more time to settle in East London and more opportunities to get regular game time.

It remains to be seen if PSG will – at least – match West Ham’s offer, but the Hammers are confident about a positive end of negotiations with Sassuolo and the player’s agent Alessandro Lucci.
Sassuolo know how to sell.

It's more about the hype which the player triggered. Scammaca for instance, was linked with almost all the top clubs in Italy + PSG, and he already is in the national team. His salary is still low, and he still needs to prove, so some midtable EPL club may afford to spend a bit more money for him and to take the risk.

Like I’m sorry he doesn’t play for a top club and Italian players outside of Barella and Veratti and maybe Bastoni…. Aren’t that good.

What does that even mean? Aren't that good? Aren't world class (none of these you named are world class)? Italy won EURO last summer. What 'not that good' national team goes around and wins titles?

We can all agree that their attack is suspect right now, but to say players like Spinazzola aren't even that good is being either Inter biased or just don't watch games

Most recently, Italy failed to qualify for the WC. So update your beliefs accordingly.

I know that, that is also why I said the attack is sus right now, plus I have no trust in Mancini to perform on the long run.

Even players that we don't like personally and make fun of, like Bonucci, are actually good players. If a team is underperforming after winning something, that doesn't instantly make it a bad team.

Or maybe it's a team regressing to the mean after overperforming and they were always a bad team?

When has bonucci been good without chielini holding his hand...
Was a disaster at milan and has been terrible for italy without chielini...

Good doesn't not equate with great/world class. If you think Bonucci is not a good player, then he is the greatest con artist of all time.
