With beating Napoli next week Atalanta could be a real threat to the top 3. That's why I wanted a draw between them and Juve. With their players back from injuries they are getting more dangerous.

Anyway, the away match against Roma always gave me a bad feeling. We are the definite favorites this time, but we need to be more accurate with our shots and stop wasting many chances by shooting it off target or straight to the GK!

I got that gut feeling that Mou won't let us score and that it's gonna be 0-0. In any case, when December ends we'll either be first or at most 3 points behind the first, so just be patient and believe in your team in the long run. As of now, we are challenging for the Scudetto, but I won't be too dissappointed if we don't win it, just that we make the top2 spot and Juve isn't top4.

Roma boss Mourinho after Bologna defeat: “It is difficult for Zaniolo to play in Serie A.”

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has stated that it might be tough for Nicolo Zaniolo to play in Serie A, after the Giallorossi’s 1-0 loss to Bologna.

A Matias Svanberg goal in the first half saw Roma pick up a defeat and remain fifth in the league. Roma were hit by COVID and injuries and they will now miss Tammy Abraham and Rick Karsdorp for the game against Inter.

Mourinho told DAZN about the game and stated: “We have to invent a team to play on Saturday, thank goodness Mancini was taken off soon, otherwise he might have taken a yellow card. Congratulations to Bologna and Sinisa, they played a good game, they took the three points but also congratulations to my players, who gave everything against everything and everyone. There were injuries before and during the game. I am proud of these guys, I have no negative feelings towards them. But if I were Zaniolo, I would begin to think that it is perhaps difficult to play in Serie A.”

Reports have talked about some tension between the two in recent weeks, even though Mourinho has talked about the Italian in glowing terms publicly.

We should propose a Sensi - Zaniolo swap as a gift of gratitude to Mourinho real quick.
Mou loves Vecino,so give him Vecino and fkn Gags for Zaniolo. Mou loves to get rid of players that later become top(Salah, DeBruyne etc etc). We should try this really lol

Yes. Obviously he did. At Inter Balotelli got a short end of his stick, and there are others, like a certain player he had at United and has now at Roma :p

If Mourinho doesn't want Zaniolo we have some players he can happily get in exchange for Zaniolo. I'm pretty sure Zaniolo could play in Serie A before his injuries!

That's his way, so I doubt he didn't do it at Inter.

This is Thiago Motta's interview from the time Mourinho was the coach at Real Madrid. Read between the lines:

Inter had Mourinho agitation problems, reveals Thiago Motta

Jose Mourinho had similar problems with his Inter squad to what he has experienced at Real Madrid, according to midfielder Thiago Motta.

The coach is set to take charge of his final Blancos game on Saturday following a turbulent season which has seen him fall out with a number of players, most notably club captain Iker Casillas.

Thiago Motta, who now plays for Paris Saint-Germain, revealed that Mourinho's spell at San Siro was also plagued by problems behind the scenes, but believes he was helped by the press being kept from finding out about from it.

"I'm familiar with the agitation in the Madrid dressing room," the 30-year-old told Onda Cero. "Maybe it's a strategy of his, because the same thing happened to us at Inter.

"It was different, because there wasn't so much talk [in the press] - things did not leave the dressing room as much."

I believe this is in reference to the refs unfair treatment of Zaniolo, not his lack of quality.

As for his subpar performances, Zaniolo is better centrally, but just not better than Pellegrini. Roma should cash in on him and use the money to bring in a physical DMF as requested by Mou. Diawara injury prone/playing trash/doesn't want to be there.

He doesn't like Zaniolo's selfish style and running out of position but for this quote, it's about referee ignoring fouls on Zaniolo, so he doesn't dig him, yet. If Zaniolo couldn't work out with Mourinho, I don't know anyone can, his attitude outside pitch is not good either.

Yeah, watching the full interview in Italian it's 100% to do with the referee treatment, and being targeted by opposition players.

Maybe Zaniolo could be better than Correa but I'm in no hurry to find out except if there is a Sanchez - Zaniolo swap deal (obviously fantasy)

Just forget about Zaniolo

Kjaer's knee on crutches . He could be out for a long time. Milan has Liverpool and Napoli in Meazza and Udinese and Empoli away in december. Then they need a cover otherwise top4 is in danger.

Yeah, was just about to say. Soon as one of Kjaer/Tomori have been out Milan have really struggled.

Good news for us, but it does mean they’ll be on the hunt for a new CB in winter.
