The life of our primavera system hurts me a lot tbh coz I am that kind of football fan who loves youth project system where youth players are promoted to the first team and will later form core of the team rather than sell them for profit. I love it coz it's the best project of all, the club get to save a lot of money and still achieve the highest level of team quality because of the cohesion and togetherness among the team it brings. Cohesion is the biggest weapon to being the best team and youth project guarantees that.
But unfortunately this is an utopia in inter, the way our club run its youth system is abysmal and renders it useless. We are the worst top club in football in developing youth from the primavera, Who was the last player that made a breakthrough from the primavera to the first team and becomes one of the cores for more than a year and when?.
Before, in football, developing young players from the youth system into the first team is seen as for the mid and small teams coz the big clubs have a lot of top quality players for youth players to find space, and if the need to fill a position arises, there's money to purchase quality player. But now things have changed, even Madrid, PSG, mancity and Chelsea of all people have been able to promote players from their youth system to playing a lot in the first team in the past few years while we've done absolutely nothing in the past 7-8_years. 'nacho, valverde, Vazquez, kimpembe, dagba, foden, mount, Reece James'. All these are from the so called big spenders
If we had known, we should have just focused on developing youth players into our first team rather than purchasing shit and mediocre players for high fees like kondogbia, vecino, joao Mario and the so called banter era- leading us to endure and suffer years of donkiness, fuckiness, and shittiness. Atleast with youth project, even though results would not be there, we would have saved a lot of money
Honestly I just feel our youth system should be ended and scrapped, it's pointless
