Pete seemed to be the most sane choice, there were some missteps in the campaign though, plus i hate to say it but i also dont think the US is ready for a gay president, as in dems wanna get the moderates it s probably easier to do that with biden than pete.

I personally think yang could have been very interesting..

The democrats entire platform seems to depend on how fast and large a money tree can grow. I have interest because what fuck you, fucks us.

If you been through Trump I don't think having a president who is gay would be a problem.

I also liked Bernie, Warren and Yang more then Biden but he was chosen for the specific reason that he can be trump. Hard to make a villain out of a moderate old white guy.

There's also a large block of power brokers in the Democratic party of old whites who don't want the progressive agendas that Bernie/Warren/Yang are pushing. Biden was the best candidate if the objective was to beat Trump. You can't reasonably paint him as a radical and he won't shoot himself in the foot.

Biden is beating himself. Always got the sense that it was a Harris administration but she seemed to stumble on issues of taxation and environment which are pillars of their campaign.

So now I hear people are whining that Cleopatra, a Greek woman who reigned over Egypt, is going to be portrayed by an Israeli woman and not a....sub Saharan African?

The only offense here is that Cleopatra was barely 1.50m tall as per our sources while Gadot is close to 1.80m. And she wasn't really pretty while Gadot is freaking gorgeous.

You clearly have not talked to enough Heartland americans, there are enough people who would simply give their vote to Trump if his opposition was gay. No matter what platform the dude runs on. It s sad but i think it s still the US reality.

Republicans want to give companies money

I can agree with that sentiment, but who is giving them money? And if the airline, tourism and hospitality industry tank, what good is 1200 dollars if those in the industry have nothing to go back to?

I mean it’s a sticky situation in 2008 we let people sink because they made bad moves. And to not bail out stupid people for maki f stupid decisions

Yet the companies selling someone who made 40k a year a 500k mortgage for 30 years and a 50k car in 5 years. They are not at fault?

So we bailed the companies. What did that do? Maybe the biggest income inequality transfer ever.

Now with Covid most of the small businesses are dead they aren’t coming back. What do you do?

Bail out companies again? Huge corporations were shamed into returning money meant for small buinsesses. BecauE people found out in social Media

While at the end of the day it’s Walmart and McDonald’s paying employees $10/hr and only giving them part time jobs so they don’t need to pay benefits. Then the American people need to pay them food stamps, rent and other shit.

I do not think Yang falls in the Bernie/Warren category. I liked Yang however he was a one trick pony, take away the UBI talking point and he was not up to his task. I liked Buttigieg, the most concise out of all candidates and reasonably moderate.

Biden is the counter answer to everyone who disliked Hillary, if you still dont vote for Biden, then you just needed an excuse to vote Trump.
